You can repeat your Qatarian drivel all day long. It doesn’t make you right and it doesn’t change reality.
You know me, always saying nice things and unwilling to be critical about our own country and others lol. I look forward to the Palestinians having a state to even be critical of, but until then ...
Iranian tankers scurrying away from their main oil terminal. Were they forewarned toa void or minimize environmental damage?? or just Israel playing with them? Satellite imagery shows Iranian oil tankers at country’s major terminal disappearing amid fears of Israeli counterattack (msn.com) Satellite imagery revealed a number of oil tankers vacating the waters around Iran's key Kharg Island oil loading terminal, amid fears of an Israeli counterattack on Tehran's energy infrastructure. "The National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) appears to be fearing an imminent attack by Israel. Their empty VLCC supertankers vacated the country's largest oil terminal, Kharg Island, yesterday," tracking firm TankerTrackers.com wrote in a post on the X social media platform on Thursday evening.
US finally starting to be a little proactive instead of reactive US warships and planes strike Houthi targets in Yemen (msn.com) The US military says it has launched strikes on the Iranian-backed Houthi group in Yemen, striking 15 targets. The Pentagon said it used aircrafts and warships to launch the attacks in order "to protect freedom of navigation". Several explosions were reported in some of Yemen’s main cities, including the capital Sanaa.
Seriously. I think Biden means well. But he should have kept his mouth shut in front of the cameras. He just declared hitting the nuclear facilities is off limits, after 200 missles are launched from Iran and Khemenei is declaring the end of Israel is near. They and everyone will know hitting them is off the table, permanently. I am not saying anyone needs to hit them in this tit-for-tat, or even at all if the cards are played right. But by publicly declaring the nuclear facilities are off limits, we have eliminated any chance of nuclear restraint from Iran in the future.
Trump is saying we should bomb Iran’s nuke facilities. LOL at people who believe we have two parties.
I do not support Israel hitting Iranian oil facilities. My view is that this risks a border war by implicating the national interests of countries that buy Iranian oil. I support strikes that degrade Iranian offensive capabilities and/or weaken the Iranian government
Wouldn’t be surprised. IDF getting wiped out on the ground. Enraged and resort to decapitation strikes likely killing civilians.
US sends heavy hitting B-2's with bunker busters after houthi bunkers reaction to latest missile attacks at US ships? high value targets requiring this asset or sending a message to Iran that we still have these types of toys to play with? US Sends ‘Hellfire & Brimstone’: B-2 Stealth Bombers Rain Down on Houthi Rebel Bunkers in Powerful Warning to Iran (msn.com) In a bold show of force, the United States launched an unprecedented B-2 Stealth Bomber attack on Houthi-controlled underground bunkers in Yemen, marking a dramatic escalation in regional tensions and a clear message to Iran. The radar-evading B-2s targeted five fortified weapons storage sites around Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, and the Houthi stronghold of Saada. The strike, the first of its kind against Iran-backed Houthi militants, underscores the US’s commitment to countering Tehran’s influence in the Middle East and protecting vital shipping lanes in the Red Sea. .............................................. The operation drew swift reactions on social media and in the news, with US allies praising the show of strength while adversaries voiced alarm over the escalating show of force. Military experts noted that B-2 Spirit bombers are typically reserved for high-stakes operations, highlighting the gravity of the US’s strategic position in Yemen. The choice of B-2 bombers—rarely used and costly to deploy—signals the seriousness with which the US views the threat posed by Iran’s proxy networks in the region. While the full extent of the damage in Yemen is still being assessed, the strike’s timing and intensity demonstrate the Biden administration’s readiness to use advanced military assets to curtail Iranian influence in the Middle East. The Pentagon has refrained from sharing details on casualties or specific structural damage, but Houthi reports indicate significant explosions rocked the targeted areas, which may hinder Houthi missile and drone capacities. Amid these developments, the US has reaffirmed its support for Israel while simultaneously working to maintain a delicate balance in the region. The B-2 operation serves as a direct warning that, while the US may not engage in Israel’s retaliatory actions, it stands ready to protect its allies and interests against any threats from Iranian-backed forces. This strategic strike underscores a broader message: any attempt to destabilize the region or harm US allies will be met with overwhelming force, regardless of how deeply Iran or its proxies try to conceal their capabilities.

Aren't they based in Diego Garcia or did they fly out of their base in Missouri? I remember they did that at the start of the Afghan war.
They likely flew out of Missouri and refueled a couple times before hitting their targets. Some chatter about whether or not this target was worth the type of ordinance that was used.
This gets back to the issues with our Defense Industrial Base that we have been talking about in the Ukraine thread.
