I’m sure there will be, for Trump. After all, it’s the GOP who always gets caught committing voter fraud, not the left, but I know you all love projection.

I was watching something about this the other day. Guy was talking about Civil War vets who married very young women late in life and how those had been passed along and were being paid out up until recently. Crazy.

Now I wonder if it was always $73/month and it was never inflation adjusted. Because that doesn't seem like a lot.

Me at 93 years old to a 26 year old: "Hey baby, I can set you up for life if we get married, a cool $73 every month for life, what do you say?"

In yesterday's report, the total number of GOP ballots returned had increased by 29,552 votes compared to the previous day. In today's report, the total number of GOP ballots returned increased by 33,268 votes compared to yesterday.

In yesterday's report, the total number of Dem ballots returned had increased by 66,272 votes compared to the previous day. In today's report, the total number of Dem ballots returned increased by 64,895 votes compared to yesterday.

Continuing to see the GOP return an increasingly higher percentage of their outstanding ballots than Dems and from here on, I would expect that to continue to improve on the GOP side, as we can already see the trend happening with GOP adding more votes than previous day and Dems adding less votes than they did the previous day.

This data looks very bad for Dems, in my view. As you mentioned, a 400,000~ vote delta is at least what you'd want to see if your on Team Kamala to have a shot. The rate of daily returns for Dems is going to nosedive, as they don't have enough outstanding ballots to continue today's pace even if they return 100% of them, which obviously isn't realistic. The Dems want to be much further ahead at this stage based on how strong GOP voting comes in the last week or so of the election and we can see Dem returns have already peaked.

Honestly, the 41% return rate thus far of Dem mail in ballots in PA is pretty horrible, because that metric trends hard GOP the closer we get to Election Day. It appears to me the GOP will end up returning a higher percentage of their mail in ballots than Dems will in PA.

Man that's some real fine 'logic' you have going on there. Dems have requested twice as many mail ballots as Repubs and have returned them at a higher rate, and that's bad news for Dems?

lol, Trump has zero chance of getting to 59% in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania had a surge of young, female voter registrants right after Biden dropped out. More than even in 2022 after Dobbs. I can guess who they will vote for.

‘Pennsylvania is such a mess’: Inside Team Harris’ unusual levels of finger-pointing

Top Democrats in Pennsylvania are worried Vice President Kamala Harris’ operation is being poorly run in the nation’s biggest battleground state. They say some Harris aides lack relationships with key party figures, particularly in Philadelphia and its suburbs. They complain they have been left out of events and surrogates haven’t been deployed effectively. And they’ve urged Harris staff in private meetings to do more to turn out voters of color.

Some are even pointing fingers at Harris’ Pennsylvania campaign manager, Nikki Lu, who they say lacks deep knowledge of Philadelphia, where the vice president must drive up voter turnout in order to win. “I have concerns about Nikki Lu,” said Ryan Boyer, who, as the first Black head of the city’s influential building trades council, is one of the most powerful labor leaders in the state. “I don’t think she understands Philadelphia.”

For some Pennsylvania Democratic elected officials, party leaders and allies, 20 of whom POLITICO spoke to for this article, they’re anxious the in-state operation has set them back. Latino and Black Democratic leaders met with Harris officials behind closed doors in separate meetings in Philadelphia late last month and pressed the campaign on their concerns, said five people who attended or were briefed on them. In the conversations, which included Lu and Harris deputy chief of staff Sergio Gonzales, the leaders asked for a greater presence at local events, an improved surrogate operation and a more sophisticated understanding of how to engage with diverse voting blocs.

All I know for certain is that my mail-in vote was placed in the mail, and I have received notice that it was received.

But no way will I tell any of you how this Never-Trumper voted!!!!

We are at the point where it is almost time to stop watching the polls and start watching the early/mail in voting ballots. Before long we should be able to see enough results to get a sense of where those numbers are compared to '20.
