What part of 12 men on the field for a FG, after a timeout, or false starts in ot, or personal fouls on a touchback kickoff scream “meticulous attention to detail?” Sorry, but the trope that BN is building a bama type disciplined team is belied by our incompetence and lack of hard nosed discipline. He is a snake oil salesman that has been grossly exposed no matter that some like the elixir he hawks.
While I would have liked so much for the Gators to win in Knoxville, this game again reaffirms why Billy needs to bug out of Gainesville after this year. And I hope people can re-focus that the long term health of the program depends on finding the right coach after this season. Just wait and see, the only time you'll ever see Billy so "organized and aggressive" in all of his 3 years here, will be during his pursuit of that buyout when he gets let go.
The most hilarious part was in the 2nd half when the camera panned to the referee as he was trying his damnedest to explain the 10 second run-off rule to Napier. This being the 2nd instance of confusion about it after he botched the last possession of the 1st half due to the same. I’m not convinced if you quizzed Napier on the rule now that he would be able to explain it to you. He is the classic in over his head coach. The look of confusion on Napier’s face was priceless. That is how I cope with this. You just gotta laugh.
Ole Miss does still have two realistic opportunities to lose. They will still play Oklahoma and Georgia at home. A 3 or more loss Ole Miss team won’t be in the 12 team playoff.
We were trying to score against a very good D. Why call on Mertz when we have Williams. At least put someone behind to push. What other coach plays 2 QBs as a plan for every game? And stop playing all of those throwing to the sideline passes.
Agreed but 9-0 minimum. Each playcall in itself isn’t horrible but when looked at as a whole, there’s just no touch to his playcalling . It’s like a robot playing poker.
Now that Billy has learned all about the 10 second run-off, he needs to learn about the 2 and 1/2 year run-off.
I cannot wrap my mind around a fraud so inept and flawed walking with $20+ million. I wish it were possible to fire most of his useless support staff and demote him to uniform manager.
