Let me say something positive, I was very proud of our defense tonight. I was very proud of the fight of our guys. They deserve better. (Coaching needs to go immediately.)

 

Napier just ended a 53 year streak. The first time Tennessee has beaten us after a loss since 1971.

A game we would have won in any other situation

 

Had a bad feeling about the Mertz injury, reminded me of Dennis Dixon. Hopefully it’s not that bad.

 

Billy, you could have won this game.

We were 2 touchdown underdogs and took them to overtime, so not all is lost.

Mertz’ college career is probably over.

Those who have been wanting Lagway, well, now we have him.

 

31 freaking games and it still stinks.

 

I predicted we would lose 38-10, so they played better than expected. Especially the D. But at the end of the day, it's still another L. Don't see another W on the horizon until the last game of the year, but will be interesting to watch DJs development, nonetheless.
