I still don't understand why they got 8 seconds back. The clock ran and then UT called a TO after some time ran off. It's Heupel's fault he didn't hear the announcement about the fumble out of bounds.

 

There is no "runoff" the clock just continued to run as normal but the refs gave them a retroactive timeout which is weird.
