Not just him. I posted on a different board before, which was large but posters became known. It was clear that on at least one occasion a poster's account had.....shifted ownership. It had dramatically shifted views, in an extremely fundamental way. And significantly increased the volume and intensity of it's posting.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there weren't at least one other poster being paid to post here. I'd be shocked, actually, if there weren't.

Not sticking up for Musk, but the story is more about how the scum bags have manipulated the profit sharing. Not that he is intentionally paying them to spread disinformation.

That said, he is not doing a good job of finding and snuffing the bot accounts. Almost like he doesn't mind Russian misinformation.

Ultimately, the bots will drive his advertisers further away.

 

Russian AI deserves freedom of speech too.

Time for supporters of the former president to proclaim that the story is a hoax.

FYI, USCYBERCOM and the CNMF started doing this type of election security under the Trump Admin.

Nope. Russian Troll Farms are a real thing.

 

My post was intended to be humorous although keep in mind that Chris Krebs, Trump's own Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (DHS CISA) (until he was fired by Trump for his honesty) called the 2020 presidential election among the most secure in history. Krebs was a life long Republican, a senior executive at Microsoft and among the most well respected experts in cybersecurity in the US. Those facts still didn't stop Trump and his supporters from asserting that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump through massive fraud. I would also add that Mueller documented Russian interference in the 2016 campaign and that still didn't stop Trump and his willfully ignorant supporters from claiming that Russian interference in that campaign was a hoax. I suspect that if there is an additional disclosure indicating that the Russians were using the troll farm to interfere in the 2024 campaign Trump and his supporters while maybe not denying the existence of the troll farm will deny that it is and will be used to intervene in the 2024 campaign on the former president's behalf.
