I can't for the life of me - given his actions after the last election, his total lack of character, and his lack of fealty to our Constitution and Democratic norms - understand why anyone would ever vote for Trump. To say it's because of his policies reflects a misunderstanding of what a President ought to be.

I'm not going to sugar coat what I think of Kamala Harris or Joe Biden. Nobody here is sugar coating what they say about Trump, including you.

Objectively, she did fine and her responses were reflective of a general election policies, albeit they have moved to the center from her past Democratic Party primary views.

The boarder [sic ] answers were nuanced and she didn’t really make her case — she seemed to be pushing that Biden/Harris were focused on a Congressional solution during the Biden term. Frankly, if Biden retained Trump policy, it is an admission Trump was right… if he acted unilaterally, he is viewed as a tyrant… if he acts to bring Congress to the table, he is viewed as weak. This is where both parties fail and the electorate lose.

Tax policy question was funny — “real world”. Ok, well… many of the Trump tax cuts sunset in 2025. Why didn’t she respond that Congress has to do something or be stuck with a tax hike, so everything is on the table and will be a negotiation. She fumbled that question with some type of back room secrets will prevail. Alright… it was her opening to suggest that that is why the Senate races are important and that people need to pay attention to legislative gridlock.

The Israeli leadership question was a crafty dodge… She sort of hit it on the nose about the American people and Israeli people being aligned. It was a non-answer answer that made it clear that Netanyahu has a different end game than Biden and Harris.
