While this was fairly obvious from the posting here, it's gratifying to see some actual numbers.

"Harris is taking an 18-point lead among white college graduates and is 21 points ahead among all college degree-holding voters, according to margins shown by CNN. About 41 percent of the electorate expected to vote this year has a college degree.

"The electorate is becoming more polarized along education, and Democrats, at least among those with a college degree, are the beneficiaries of it, and Kamala Harris is doing historically well among voters with a college degree," CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten said on Monday."

"It's double the margin Joe Biden had just four years ago," Enten said. "I went back to the record book. This would be the largest win for a Democratic presidential candidate among white college grads in recorded history."

College teaches critical thinking. No one with even a modicum of critical thinking would choose Trump as president.

And plenty of other degrees too. The more educated one is, the less likely they are to vote for the party of anti-intellectualism and conspiracy theories. Shocker.

Facts are facts. Trump's top support group is uneducated white males. Harris' is from the college educated.

I would think one of the self proclaimed smartest people on GC would be Vegas. Isn't he always talking about his test scores.

Harris, of course. I'd never vote for a rapist convicted felon regardless of party.

Educated people generally align with the Democratic Party. Didn't used to be that way. Coalitions shifted. While this shift preexisted Trump, he accelerated it.

Yes, Republicans, we are more intelligent and well educated than you and we will gladly run it in your faces, especially when you vote for a racist, rapist potato for president over and over again.

If you all were as smart as you say you are you would be coming at this argument from a different perspective.

You all are acting like Kamala is the savior of the world when she is only going to win because Trump has so much baggage. She's a horrible candidate. Literally one of the least qualified and with the lowest approval rating we have ever seen. Yet we are here, listening to you all fawn over how smart you all are to pick a nothing burger over someone with as much baggage as Trump. What is going to happen when there is no Trump and just a large (around half the country) swath of disgruntled people who can't stand you because all you did was marginalized them in the name of what you THINK is the best or most moral choice. The fact that there are millions of people who disagree should make anyone who is actually intelligent pause for a second and realize there are many factors in this election.

But by all means, have a circle jerk with eachother and bask in your intelligence. You reap what you sow..

If it results in a massive red wave in the 2026 mid-terms, so be it. It's worth the trade off. Nothing is more important than keeping Trump out of the white house. People who went to college see this.

Yeah, the R party could have easily taken this election but they prioritized Trump over party.
We'll see how that turns out.

    Not everyone is "MAGA".

Some people vote because they think one candidate will back policies that helps them feed their family. Thats the problem some of you have, some cant figure out there are many issues at play. Some people are plugging their nose and voting for Trump. I just think someone that can pat themselves on the back as being smart ought to be smart enough to figure out not everyone votes because they like their candidate personally.

Honestly, if any of you are voting for Harris because you actually like her policies or accomplishments and you take away Trump from the equation completely, you probably need your head checked just like MAGA people. You see, it can go both ways. Thats all I really try to get people to see. Its not black and white, there is A LOT of gray area.

What we have are two historically bad candidates for their own reasons. There are millions of people who disagree with you. Like... half the country. You cant claim they are all POS MAGA people without getting pushback or have animosity build up.

You guys do what you want though, always have. However, nothing either side is doing is helping bring THE PEOPLE together.
