I’m watching FOX NFL Sunday and standing next Howie Long and Michael Strahan (presumably they’re 6-3 or 6-4) Terry looks like a midget despite being listed at 6-3 when he played.

They often have extreme camera angles from the side which really skews the views. Like holding that fish towards the camera :) And old broken down men settle a bit

But standing next to Howie, Strahan and Gronk, lol

Shrinking with age is common as well.

Remember Joe "turkey" Jones? Cleveland Browns d-lineman who planted Terry head first into the ground? That was an inch right there.

Yeah, now in my 60’s, I’ve probably lost an inch. But based on the advertised heights of the former players he’s standing next to, he looks closer to 5-11 than to 6-3. Of course maybe he was never close to 6-3.

Take another inch or two off for being bald.

I’ve lost at least 1.5” but I also have a bad back and poor posture. Now, there is no way I can dunk; I couldn’t before but no way now!

I noticed this too and think the camera angle skewed the heights.

Bradshaw is somewhere between a leprechaun and a garden gnome.

This. A 6' 3" male will lose on average 5 inches by the time they are in their 80s. I'm almost 60 and I've lost 2 inches already. I was a solid 6' in high school, now right at 5' 10".

I'm 72 and have lost about 1 1/4" in height from my younger days.

Like you, him having back issues is not beyond the realm of possibility.
