Just just coming on one part One part of your pose where you said he hast to get out of his comfort zone. You saw last night and he sat on the ball so that will never happen. His comfort zone is a disgrace.
It's college football, 2nd year players getting PT is expected. Teams with almost nothing but Jr and Sr getting PT are the exception, not the rule. We are actually unusual in that those 2nd year players got significant PT in their 1st year.
Ha ha ha keyboard tough guy! Dude, it is possible to debate online. I am cofindent that I will put you under the stadium and I think you do too if this is all you can come back with. ha ha ha.
There go them slippery goal posts again. Depends on what the player does with that experience, learn and grow, or lose confidence and crumble.
Based on how some (I won’t mention any names) have played this year, I would say confidence is lacking.
I know I’m drinking kool aid because I want to… just like the offseason… and I think EVEN IF all goes well and CBN finds some wins - we’ve seen fundamental flaws that prove we aren’t gonna a championship program with him… BUT I saw some things last night that could bode well moving forward. The energy and depth on front 7- I saw plays being made from Searcy, LJ, James, Pyburn, Howard… changing the practices had raised the energy level. Guys staying home. Saw a ton of good run fits and good eyes. Tackling was better. Pace or offense and urgency was better in 1st half. What confounds me about Billy is he HAS to see the offense works so much better with tempo and urgency- you see it in halves of games and then he stops. The offense has a Mcvay like beauty when it works. Problem is- you have to be PERFECT to run it. They rely on getting on schedule and winning 3rd downs and you can’t make mistakes to do that. Unless you have Lagway which can give you the deep ball and big play. UCF was not good but they were also a bad matchup for us historically with a bruising running qb. And we didn’t have TRE or mizell We can win 4-5 more if he will open it up more
Yet he still took his foot off the gas again. Same as Tennessee last year. He just doesn’t seem to be evolving.
