Are you the same guy that spent the last month posting ten times a day about how everyone from the President on down should be fired? Did someone steal your laptop?
Come on Skink, don't start the young inexperienced stuff again. The number of snaps and returning production was a talking point the whole offseason.
I’ll never forget the first time I saw Sam Kinison - it was his horrendously politically incorrect routine on Aid for Africa. It was outrageously funny and just destroyed the fine line between appropriate and inappropriate. A true pioneer, and along with Robin Williams and George Carlin, one of the absolutely funniest comedians ever. RIP Sam - you are missed
With good reason - it’s a fact. Have you taken note of how many 18-19 year old freshmen we’re playing every down? I know you don’t like talking about it though
I don't have the answer. But I do know TA&M fired good ole Jimbo who won 62% of his games at A&M and had a national championship on his resume all while having a was it $72(?) million buyout. I think the Aggies are pretty happy with the results now. I honestly think Billy has improved from horrible to bad (by SEC standards) with a ceiling of mediocre. I also think he is a good fella who is a good family man with better integrity than most coaches. I would like him as a neighbor or friend. Not so much as a championship level coach.
If you review the OGT I point it out very often when Tr Freshmen are in and making plays. They are playing by choice, not because they are all we got like some positions last year. Check the snaps recap Florida’s week six snap count report vs UCF | GatorCountry.com. 29 snaps by True Freshman on D total, last year Castell would have that in 1 half by himself. 70 snaps on O between DJ, Tank, and Baugh. The young and inexperienced is BS, but you don't like not having excuses.
Look at what’s on the field though. A lot of young guys getting minutes these last two games. The Slackmans and Asa Turners are mostly hurt and/or not very good.
The Gators looked good yesterday. No reservations, no caveats. Before the game i pointed to the bench and told my son 'they (our boys) ate fired up to play! They're pumped!' He had predicted the Gators would win solidly in front of home crowd. Billy showed signs of actual @#$%&n life. Drew an USML penalty! Give the devil his due. Last night he showed that he could tap into that latent talent, and get better play out of them. ...and it only took chargrill griddle marks on his ass from the heat of the noise in the system moving to fire his ass to get there... But there we are. It's silly to therefore conclude that UCF sucks, Malzahn forgot how to coach, or what have you. UCF came in with swagger...they were shut down early with passion. Just shows Billy has it in him, Let's see him sustain that level of dedication and determination. ...but give him last night. For one of very few occasions, last night he earned his take.

You see it all the time. That was the reason Cal lost to Miami. They got too conservative offensively and let Miami back into the game. But on the other side, Bama wins against Vandy if Saban was still coaching. There’s something to be said about airing it out like Deboer does…flashy, but can be inconsistent when it comes to winning. That TOP differential (Vandy 42 minutes to Bama’s 18) is the main reason they lost.
Yes, I also think that the AD should be fired in case you missed it. I also live rent free in your head. What are you going to do about it?
I get your point, but look at the returning starters. A lot are true sophomores or players who shouldn’t have been starting last year in the first place.
This rent free life in you head is nice. Ha ha! Keep it coming. This is weak sauce. Bring something worthy to the discussion.
Are you saying Castell and Thornton aren’t young? How about Pup and Robinson? How about Kam’ran and Searcy? I could go on…
