Especially a fan base at a school that wins at literally everything else and can’t even field a decent, watchable team in the top half of the league in its by far biggest sport and biggest money-maker, at the biggest school in an absolute breeding ground for top talent and a alumnus that has a LOT of money /boosters that are (now, finally) willing to pay up. Any fanbase with those kinds of resources and that kind of success everywhere else would be in total shock at the general disgrace of the product we’ve seen for the last 15 years. A school like Florida SHOULD have a level of entitlement embedded into its fanbase. This isn’t Sanford! We should expect more, a hell of a lot more and we DESERVE a hell of a lot more….we’re the freaking Florida Gators playing at the SWAMP. That used to mean something! the fact that we might get beat at home to the UCF freaking Knights, a school in the same state that has almost zero history and barely a campus? It’s pathetic, and has to change. Let’s just bring in Tim Tebow as a coach and call it a day, no coaching experience aside. Heck, give him a lifetime contract. At least he CARES about winning and would DEMAND that out of his players and coaches.
For not being “toxic” they rode frank solich out of town pretty fast even though he was winning 8 or 9 games per year.
You can be snarky. But saying I don’t get around much is funny. Fans really don’t know their ass from third base. And Gator fans piss me off with these stupid expectations. We are an average program and have been except a couple of windows. Maybe you need to get around a little more??
