I don't think you can call the OP hypocrisy for pointing out MSNBC's bias without mentioning Fox's. Any more than pointing out Trump's latest falsehood is hypocrisy unless you run down everything from Harris or Walz.
As I said, I only see the MSNBC website from time to time, and it's always filled with "Democrats good, Republicans bad" stories. Fox's is much the same from the other side, though it seems to throw in more celebrity news. I suspect its studies show that's what it's audience wants.

The media (national and local) are the true deplorables.

Ex: during the lockdowns, early 2020, our governor had daily televised briefings with media present.

Instead of pressing the governor on why it was necessary to put people out of business, they acted as government snitches by reporting businesses that hadn’t closed or were not enforcing masks.

So it’s hardly surprising to me that they’re serving as handmaids to the administration.

While I think that we can all agree that MSNBC favors Democratic candidates, no MSNBC personality has ever pulled a stunt like this:

Did trump need politics to make his fortune? Did Biden? Follow the money. One uses his money and influence to help the country…the other uses the country to gain money and influence.

Trump didn't need politics just a very wealthy father to bail him multiple times and most recently a very successful producer of reality television shows (Mark Burnett) and a tv network. Biden made his money from book deals and speaking engagements earned after he left office as vice president. Trump was first president to monetize the presidency while in office.

How The Bidens Earned $16.7 Million After Leaving The White House
When Biden left the West Wing, the big money started coming. In 2017, the Bidens declared $11.1 million in total earnings, nearly twice as much in a single year as they had made in the previous 18 years combined. About $10 million of that flowed through two S-corporations called CelticCapri and Giacoppa. The Biden campaign explained in a press release last year that the money in those entities came from speaking engagements and book payments connected to Joe’s memoir, Promise Me, Dad, and Jill’s memoir, Where the Light Enters. Publishers Weekly reported in 2017 that the couple’s book deal with Flatiron Books was valued at $8 million. In February 2017, Joe Biden was also named the Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, a post that earned him a $372,000 salary that year.

At this point, yes. Trump inherited a bunch of money, but he squandered most of it on ridiculous real estate deals, casinos in which he somehow lost money (seriously, who loses money on a casino?), and a variety of terrible ideas (Trump Airways!). He found a second source of income in the 2000s when he became a reality TV show character and used that to license the businesses of white collar criminals (Trump University, a variety of buildings built for money laundering purposes, etc.). However, that business is largely gone for him. So now, he is trying to make money on political corruption. Most of his net worth is sourced to a "social media company" that loses orders of magnitude more money than it makes in revenue and is shrinking in user base. That is pretty clearly just a way to buy influence with him, as it has no inherent value as a company (no interesting patents, lack of a growing user base, no intriguing revenue model, etc.).

Given the existential threat that trump represents to our country and to the free press, I'm disappointed more media outlets aren't actively helping Harris/Walz.

I'm sorry, let me get this straight. Your assertion is that because Biden made money as a result of being vice president that Biden became vice president to make money.

    Wow

Although there is absolutely no evidence I actually think what he was trying to say that Biden became wealthy while in office. Joe Biden wasn't the first or only politician to monetize his political experience after leaving office. While the optics may not look good it's perfectly legal and unlike some former politicians Biden didn't become a lobbyist after leaving office. Trump was the first president to monetize the presidency while in office.
