    ^ True....but partially not true.

Specifically; he's not "done." His supporters don't care if he resorted to crime. Not a bit. Some even embrace it. Because everything is unfair to poor Trump.

Yep, there is literally nothing he could do or say to lose his hard core supporters.... but it's not a cult.

If commiting crimes and going against the Constitution he was sworn to uphold is what he has to do to MAGA, then he'll do it.

Like I said upstream, the redactions were pretty silly. Someone has taken the time to figure out who everyone is.

Other than silence, I'm not sure what the defense is here. All the evidence is fabricated and quotes from sources are made up? Or is it, so what - this isn't even a crime?

It's indisputable based on the indictment that Trump was informed and had knowledge that he lost and took action to remain in power despite that knowledge. About the best you can muster is despite numerous people telling him that he lost, he still "believed" otherwise, and therefore his actions didn't have criminal intent. That's going to be a non-starter in court though because this man was the president of the country and clearly is capable of processing information to understand truth. If not, and that's the best defense, then he shouldn't even be allowed to work in government for the local dog catcher, let alone as president.

The defense is delay, delay, win the election, gut the doj and have them dismiss the case. Throw in a blanket self pardon on all past and future crimes for good measure.

That's definitely the plan. Just curious what the defense is for the actions themselves.

I don't think I've seen anything that addresses the conduct, it's all generic deflections like "weaponized DOJ" or "Presidential immunity."

The Boss is down on Trump. Says that Trump is the worst presidential candidate in his lifetime, and that Trump, who he says acts like he was not born in the U.S.A., is going down, down, down, down.

One detail in Trump's legal case surrounding his insurrection caused the legal experts to gasp in horror. Apparently, when an aide rushed in to tell Trump that a mob was closing in on Mike Pence with chants to hang him, expecting Trump to take action to protect his V.P., Trump responded with "So what?"

I have no idea how anyone could be enough of a lowlife to vote for Donald Trump after hearing that. You might as well vote for Al Capone or Lucky Luciano.

It won’t move the needle at all. The Trumpeteer will call it lawfare, without ever reading a single word of the actual documents. I don’t think there’s any bona fide undecided, either. Our ballots just arrived at our house tonight, and we will have voted by the end of the weekend.

As long as he is owning the libs, hurting the right people (brown people, immigrants, lgbtq) and pushing through heritage foundation policies and judges, they don't give a shit what he does.

one reporter who was working the White House at the time and had many house contacts said that her contact in the administration described Trump as “giddy” while it was all going on.

Things are going a little roughly at the Harris campaign. She only has a 66-electoral vote lead over Trump right now, according to a data scientist. She only holds a lock on "most" of the swing states. Pathetic. I was expecting a triple-digit lead in electoral votes by now.
