MsST is better than Samford by far. UCF will tell us a bit more about this team. In my opinion if we are a mid level SEC team we should win by two TDs. Saturday, will let us know if we have any shot against UK. Tenn is probably going to beat us down pretty good.
Well then the good news is he’s probably getting 1 or 0 more. Maybe UCF and a longer shot but still maybe FSU. We already played this version of FSU last year and lost.
I'm not so sure. Lots of names have been floated around as replacements, and they aren't real exciting.
I don't disagree, I just don't see how he would manage to recruit. I think NIL fan donations could drop as well. He doesn't really offer a lot of hope.
Seems that this search will be for a proven winner, at a higher level than current coach. But who knows, because Napier is just not a good coach. I'm not 100% that it has to be an SEC experienced coach, because for all purposes, Muschamp had that. Is there another smaller school Urban Meyer type? Not that I know of. So, who knows? But hiring a soon to be mediocre coach now because the Napier tenure has been so underwhelming doesn't make us any better off.

Years of incompetence top to bottom does not give me any confidence that they would fire him if he somehow got to 6 wins. I would say there is a 25% chance he could somehow get to six wins. 75% chance to get to 4 wins 50% to get to 5 wins If we go back and look at many season predictions on this board, most would say 6 to 7 wins with this schedule was realistic and that would give me another season. Unfortunately, this is where we are at. I definitely do not want this to be the case.
