I got it from two family members who were students at the time. They also voted in the student poll for UCF's first mascot to replace the original Citronaut. According to the official UCF version, "Knights" won handily. But according to them, just about every student voted to be the "Vultures."

The Miami and Texas A&M games this year are perfect examples of why the Swamp is no longer a huge home field advantage for us. Painful to witness if you’re a Gator.
