Execute the opponents every time they do it And if we’re wrong, he’s still dead and he can’t play the next down or the rest of the game or the next game or next year
Leaning towards Cignetti or Klieman. Cignetti has turned every team he has coached around in the first year.
They don't play Texas. At LSU, OU and Ga would be there 3 toughest imo. Next up is at SC who I think they beat. If not, the others don't really matter.
Great news! The dolphins got trounced again so we can start throwing around McDaniels name along with all the other ones like Heupel, Riley, Urban, Brohm, Kingsbury, gundy, Lanning, etc etc
Ol Miss has the same problem we do, they get their asses handed to them on the line of scrimmage. It’s hard to play football like that.
There is a thread on the other site supposedly discussing the process(sorry for using that word.) If you remember a few weeks back there was a screenshot of Gary Condron commenting something about getting the money in place to replace Napier because the ROI wasn't there after the Miami game. Supposedly, he shot down rumors and gave reasons why urban, Lanning, Fisch, and others are not realistic options and not being pursued. Also used phrasing like "if" a coaching vacancy appears as if to say that there is a glimmer of hope that Napier can turn the season around. The last part seemed like semantics if true because as ET mentioned in another thread the timing of all of this is delicate and problematic. Take it for what it's worth. The guy is a major booster and known to frequent that board apparently. Of course it could be subterfuge as well but I doubt it.
There a way to conduct business and you don’t throw employees under the bus. We will move on in my opinion and they boys with the checkbooks are debating which direction to go as we speak. Who knows which doors are knocked first and what those coaches reactions would be. If I was a premier coach or an up and comer getting my one shot to prove myself, I’d want to be assured that I would have a better team in the trenches to work with or I wouldn’t even consider coming unless it was only for a nice buyout.
Hard to imagine that even with all of those weapons, Tua is the cog that makes it all go. That offense is putrid right now.
