He’s more of a calm demeanor on the sideline and gives a good PC. He’s a defensive minded head coach. I believe he could be really successful with UF talent. We’ll probably never know though. His coaching record is outstanding at all levels.

 

Gus Malzahn is a pretty good game day coach. His teams are motivated and he schemes well. That said, I do think UCF was a tad flat Saturday against Colorado.
I also think we see a very confident KJ Jefferson this Saturday because he is 1-0 against us in the Swamp. Gus will use him prominently, IMO.
We win if we play to our capability but, it will take 60 minutes of effort. And please coach, if we get a lead, pour the coals on.

 

Turned it off after 4 minutes. What could anyone have seen in this guy?

 

i think UF wins. Idk why, but i think so. Also, if there’s ever a game to play press coverage and sell out against the run, this the game. Gotta carry ourselves like our corners can handle their WR’s

 

The betting services are consistent in predicting a very close game. Some predict Gators by one. Others predict Knights by one.

 

Sadly wouldn’t surprise me either. I can see them, UCF, winning a sloppy ugly game as with us. Sad we’re at this point vs UCF but Go Gators!!! I hope this bye week is what they needed

 

I mentioned him 2 weeks ago as a good possibility The usual nay sayers said his offense wasn't exciting enough.

Also KJ Jefferson looks bigger heavier and slower than at Arky. Looks like he is not in top shape. UCF got into a shoot out mode tempo w Colorado and forgot about their run game first half. I hope we do the same and throw the ball all over the place. Their db's are weak. Their d line pretty stout.

I don't think Jefferson can beat us with his arm. He threw some bad picks.

I move this into the definitely winnable category.

Florida blitzes on only 18% of plays, 10% less than national average. Meanwhile, because of the creepers philosophy- they are dropping potential rushers into coverage 20-30% of the time.
When guys are consistently out of position, playing on their heels and can’t contain a qb run or get pressure/ SIMPLIFY.

 

It only appears that way because our safeties come up and whiff tackles.
