Yes, terrible to make it political. It's done by both sides unfortunately.

and we sent 700 TN National Guard to the Middle East
Tennessee National Guard Task Force deploying to Middle East
Luckily, we have Samaritan's Purse. They are amazing. I work for them every time I get a chance. You get registered, and they give you an ID card/T-shirt and an address to work at for the day. They supply all the tools and teams to work with.

    Spot the difference;

Sure. One of those things is referring to 3 years after the aftermath of Maria.

Whats Trump going to do to facilitate the dispersal of supplies? Oh, wait..

You were being very generous there. I can think of a few far more accurate descriptors for that level of misrepresentation.

Another shout out to my employer..

They have a setup on site (fuel truck? Haven't been by there yet) where every single employee can fuel up their vehicle once per week, and two 5-gallon gas containers per day (for free). That's awesome. The generators they gave out for Idalia got us through the weekend.

One person has a reason to be there. The other guy with his entourage and motorcade is just in the way. Besides, I'm sure they have enough paper towels.

No idea. I'm sure he will say something completely stupid that much I'm confident in.

I’m in the same boat. Insurance dropped me and I never renewed.

Would hope our leaders would do something about this but we know that won't happen no matter who is in charge. Criminal by the insurance companies.

Let me see if I can follow the thinking here:
In a thread about Americans coping with a disaster, someone posts something that certainly seems to be a false attack on Biden. Up to that point, no one had mentioned Biden or Trump on the thread.
Naturally, he gets called out for the false cheapshot.
You rush to his defense by claiming a national media outlet has been unfair to Trump. And that because Politico wrote about politics, that shows the left does it so it’s ok here.
    Or something like that.

    That's fantastic!
From everything you have posted you work for a great company. Don't ever leave.

They did do something about this. They made it harder for homeowners to sue insurance companies in a special legislation session last year in order to "bring down insurance costs" by curbing fraudulent litigation....

I watched that. Absolutely criminal what Heritage Insurance has done. Adding insult to injury is that the homeowners still have a mortgage and must continue paying insurance to that same company while their house is uninhabitable.

I actually think that we used to have them when I lived in New Orleans. Glad we never needed a claim.

If I recall correctly, the one adjuster had 44 of his 46 reports significantly reduced. In the case of the subject of the story, their initial amount of over $200,000 was reduced to a $9,000 check.
