Deboer got the keys (short term lease) to Saban's Ferrari. Last Night he demonstrated he can drive winning races with that car. There were some red flags, which included coasting mode in the 2nd half. IMO, he has yet to demonstrate that when the lease is over, and he has to build his team, he can continue the success that Saban had. The jury is out on that.
Carson Beck looks very weird lately.. I don't think images returned on a search reflect his current appearance. IMO, Schmiegel is Beck's doppelganger. Can't imagine wearing a shirt with Beck's image.
Still an amazing come back that fell short. I don't know what to make of the second half, was it uga making adjustments on D or was it bama becoming a bit more conservative Personally, I think uga made adjustments for it seemed bama was still running their offense and I'm sure they wanted to make a statement of a rout. These teams will meet again and maybe again for all the beans.
There it is. Plays "friendly" when they have the upper hand but make the slightest remark about them on our own board and the insufferable rednecks show their colors. Never been to a Georgia board. Not when spurrier owned Georgia. Not when Zook owned them. Not when Meyer owned them. And not when maclwein did as well. Weird.
hopefully our current coach has finally learned you can't let up in the SEC.. It's been 2 years, 4 games. It should have sunk in by now.
He had some turnover on the roster and that receiver kid is going to be a problem. He just knocked off Kirby. I think he will be fine. At least he didn’t try a fake kick with his 5* qb,
So yeah, I turned this one off. I watched the Ole Miss/UK game, then the Oklahoma/Auburn game and then thought to myself: "well, at least 2 of the 3 games were good games". I'm almost 50 years old, you would have thought I would have learned by now....
I did...just after half time. I was worn out from yard-work cleaning up hurricane debris and figured that it was in the books already.
"Games Ops at @AlabamaFTBL should be a mandatory clinic session for every stadium in North America!" This times a 100. I took my Father to a game over there a few years back (it was on his bucket list and was my first time back there since 1990), and the entire game-day operation was incredible. Alabama's commitment to football excellence doesn't just start and end on the field. I am a 35 year UF season ticket holder and I'm sad to say ours has not kept up with the Jones's.
