Crazy part is a 17 year old playing like he did in a game like this. He wasn't even born when Saban was named Bama's new HBC.
So that’s how football is supposed to be played. Fire, physicality, energy, throwing the football all over the field to stretch defense, making adjustments, playing 17 year olds over 24 year old “experienced players” because they are better, not BACKING DOWN until the game is at 0:00 in 4th qtr. I didn’t know.
We will evaluate our energy. Gotta make sure we put our best emotional guys on the field. There is a process to this and It takes time to make sure we put the right emotion out there right.
Not sure why Ole Miss had gotten the love. Their first four games....well, let's just say, Wake Forest was the strongest team. Wake entered the day #88 in the country, then lost at home to Louisiana. Ole Miss needs to earn any playoff talk, IMO.
Has anyone been seeing anything written about DeBoers clock/game management? It was atrocious. And holy smokes how did UGA continue to get guys into single coverage deep in the 4th qtr... fun to watch though!
DeBoer learned a valuable lesson last night. You don’t take your foot off the gas against an elite SEC program under any circumstances. Peddle to the metal! He was lucky that he won that game.
Reminded me of the 1996 Tennessee game. We quickly went up 35-0, then Manning proceeded to carve us up the rest of the way. We were literally an onside kick away from losing that game.
Almost like he watched extensive tape of last years nole game...some of those play calls were god awful.
In 2023 CBN took his foot of the throttle and went into coast mode against UT and F$U.. LUCKILY, it worked out against UT and didn't against F$U. It's his usual MO.
I think the Georgia of the second half will be the Georgia team. We see the rest of the year. They dominated Alabama in the second half.
