Not saying it's the reason,.... but with all the talk of Kiffen to UF over the last several weeks, doesn't anyone think how much that is playing on the Rebs players mental psyche's?? UK going ahead on a busted play fumble....... I personally favor an open throttle offensive guy, if it's Kiffen, great. I tend to be in the camp that if you play/coach with a wide open offense, the stars will come. Give me an attacking D coordinator also and I think the stars will come. Look at Bama's D tonight. According the board its not the loses but who they are against. The two teams many on here exclaim the losing to either vandy or uk is verboten. So why should we hire a guy who loses to uk with a superior team when will over pay for the privilege. If LK wasnt the shinny object this would disqualify him in the eyes of many here after today.

The bigger issue would the large sum of money necessary to lure LK. There os no denying this board deems uk an expected and has been in an uproar when the last 2 coaches failed to beat them.

Lastly, the perceived wonder coach scored a measly 17pts with a senior QB and loaded roster, this classic lane. The comments of overpaying will be written and posted first game we struggle

The board is calling for a coach that can't even compete in their games against top 10 opponents and also manages to drop games like Saturdays game. Meanwhile they scoff at the idea of a "boring " Stoops like coach that can hang with Georgia with a significantly less talented roster..... make it make sense.
