If you’re Kiffin you have to be thinking why am I floundering around with ole miss talent where I have to sweat out games like Kentucky when I can go get Florida talent bluechips up and down the roster and overmatch teams like Kentucky at UF. He’s a great coach there’s just only so much he can do at ole miss. They have a low ceiling.

Difference being Kiffen is actually funny and Mullen is an unfunny guy trying to be funny. Mullen was weird and awkward. Helluva offensive coach but he was not likeable and recruits felt it

"Got his ass beat" is a bit of an exaggeration but yes Lane enjoyers took a hit today though they seem to be trying to frame it as good so he's easier to get.

There is no sure thing coach, moving the coaching canidate big board every week is fun but really makes little sense.

 

I think we should only hire someone who’s never lost a game. He will be payed 5k per month plus 1 million per win.

Now that we are in week 5 of the college football, our Gators are 2-2 only losing to Undefeated Miami and 4-1 TX A&M. Could we be better than we thought after starting 1-2? Will it matter with the gauntlet ahead?

I feel confident we will beat UCF and I feel worse about Kentucky, now. I can see a 4 win season, can Sunbelt Billy pull two big upsets to get to 6 wins? Not likely.

I just have no confidence in Kiffin as our savior. Nothing in his past would suggest this.

 

What Blue Chips? 14 of the top 20 FL players went out of state last year. And that's every damn year. I'm not saying it wouldn't be a step up, but it would be a marginal one at this point. It's not 20 years ago.

 

Presumably a better coach would keep more of that talent from leaving.
