GAME THREAD: Colorado at UCF, Sat. at 3:30pm on Fox

Will we sell out on defense to stop the run? Or sit back with 2 high safeties and play it safe like we have been doing.

I hope we will choose to stack the box, but have lost faith in the current defensive play caller that he will load the box and make UCF beat us through the air.

 

UCF going into the locker room with 49 rushing yards. At home. Against Colorado.

 

That translates to 150 against UF.

 

As it turns out, UCF got another possession. And as it turns out, they lost 6 yards off their rushing total.

At home. Against Colorado.

 

So. all we have to do is pass, pass, pass all game long with intermittent running to beat UCF?

 

So much for that #1 rushing offense. UF will be 3-2.

 

None of us believe Colorado is a GOOD team and all want to see ucf be a less than a MOTR team.

If we can do what Colorado is on Defense, it would help.

Deion has won everywhere he's coached and he has two Top 10 NFL draft picks out there, with a talented supporting cast. Colorado is improving every week and will likely be ranked in the Top 25 tomorrow.

 

Good for him!! Let's hope Colorado keeps him employed for a long, long time.

 

The one thing that stand out about Colorado is that they play with high intensity on defense. They were being called out and responded. I wonder if our guys can do that.

 

Also … how embarrassing for UCF to have that 2017 National Championship banner on their stadium. Cringe.
