What a crazy ending. Can't say I've seen one like that. Start w VT dominating the game and maintaining a lead until the last few mins. They went for a fake fg, which would have been a layup, and got stuffed. Their clock management on the last drive was a mess. The last play looked like a TD to me, as I thought #9 had the ball in control with his right wrist against his body. It was ripped out after he landed w control, imo. If the play had been called incomplete, I don't think video evidence would have overturned that either. They called it complete, though, and overturning that call was incorrect. The video evidence was ambiguous. The booth expert guy who chimes in on these games is usually pretty good. In this case, I thought he sounded outright biased, given the video evidence - inconclusive. Perhaps the refs had another angle that we were not shown.
