I trust Baris and Barnes. I think on their last podcast they had the Jewish vote at 60%-40% for Kamala over Trump. That's a big shift. Rich Baris is Jewish BTW

Here's the political reporter for The Forward citing a suspect poll that has Trump ahead of Kamala with Jews in NY:

That's an older poll. The one I posted is more recent. And yes, there are likely pockets of Jews in places like New York that are starting to lean more right. But Jews don't vote as one bloc, and overall, it looks like Jews will be voting Harris at a similar rate as they did for Biden.

Agree. As i previously mentioned there are two pockets of ultra Orthodox Jewish voters in New York State, one in Brooklyn and one in a town in upstate New York. They favor Trump for two reasons. First on social issues they are very similar to Evangelical Christians and secondly they also favor Trump based on his absolute fealty to Benjamin Netanyahu; in that respect that they are no different than the ultra Orthodox Jews in Israel who were responsible for the coalition that is supporting him.

He didn't need to be lucky because there was no real wound to his ear.

I say there is a shift among Jews towards Trump. We"ll see when the results are in come November. I saw a couple of comments on Twitter saying multiple Sienna polls have indicated Jews in NY are favoring Trump. My recollection is that Jews are 9% of the NY vote. Trump will lose NY but only by about 15%. He will lose New Jersey by only 7%-9% imo.

In general, if you look at the same polls taken at the same time in 2016 and 2020 Trump is running 4% to 5% better. Fraud will be lower because there are far fewer mail-in ballots in the equation. Trump should be a heavy favorite. He was a heavy favorite a year ago when people actually made up their minds

VA said it. The orthodox Jews are lining up behind Trump. But they only make up a small portion of the Jewish population. The more reformed Jews and "cultural" Jews are identify as Jewish, but aren't religious, are Harris supporters 3:1 or more.

There's two large Orthodox population centers in New York State. Outside of that, only small pockets, including California, where there's no way Trump will win.
