Except in this case he is taking the CONSERVATIVE line against trumps leftist one.
Why does that bother some of my fellow conservatives so much?

Glad the turtle is gone and especially so if Trump wins. McConnell is more of a hindrance than a help to republican causes. It's going to take everyone on the team rowing together to clean out that hornet's nest in D.C. McConnell isn't up to the job.

McConnell was personally responsible for tipping the SCOTUS to the far right and for overturning Roe v. Wade. When Antonin Scalia passed away in February 2016 he kept the seat open not even allowing Obama's nomination of Garland out of the Judiciary Committee; he eliminated the filibuster for confirmation of SCOTUS justices almost guaranteeing the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh; and finally he pushed confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett's nomination through the Senate even though the seat came open with RBG's death six weeks prior to the election, a seat that should have been kept open had he applied his own rationale for keeping the Scalia seat open. Obviously I'm not a fan of McConnell but if he is replaced it will be with a puppet of Trump's who will give the Orange one free reign.

Again, and for the last time, you can thank your party and Harry Reid for changing rules on judges. Either you have rules, or you don't.

If Kamrade Kamala wins, ending the filibuster and all of ensuing chaos to come over the years will be on your party and Kamrade Kamala.

Don't blame republicans for reacting to the shit that democrats do in the senate.

This. Imagine thinking that Mitch isnt taking the conservative line in the John Deer. Nothing about Trumps position on the matter is conservative.

I explained to you why the Supreme Court differs from every other federal court and why its justices should be confirmed by what is in effect a super majority. Unlike every other court the decisions of the Supreme Court are not subject to appeal. A Supreme Court decision becomes law as much as a statute enacted by Congress. Rather than trying to refute my rationale you keep regurgitating the right-wing party line about Harry Reid.

UrbanVick - who is this “John Deer” of whom you speak? Is he Native American, and if so, what’s the relevance here? Or some code name for an animalistic participant in a Diddy freak out?
