The two commits are Mia Johnson committed to Arkansas and kharisma white committed to duke. As far as I can tell neither shayla or Nina are committed right now.
Buford won the Region Championship yesterday and it is now on to states in Columbus. Addison Rackley, heading to LSU, hit her second grand slam of her career. Our girl, Caroline, threw another no hitter with 7 strike outs. I think only five innings due to run rule so that explains the 7 k's.

FYI. My brother Phil (ufgator72sb) is OK! The eye of the Helene tracked further east than predicted. Helene’s eye-wall came close to Martinez(Augusta,GA). A very large Oak tree uprooted in the front yard and came through his bedroom at the base of his bed at 5:30 this morning. He had just gotten up and left the room to go downstairs when the tree came through the roof. A Georgia Power power-outage alarm on his phone is what woke him up. He had left the bedroom to tell his son of the outage. Whew! Irony…he had worked for Georgia Power for 42 years.
Almost all of the posters on the softball. volleyball and gymnastic boards are very positive and refreshing. Reading the football posts is pretty much of a nightmare. Keep up the good work.
Recruiting update: like Rick previously mentioned MacLaine took an official visit to OU. Shayla also took her official visit to OU. Nina had an official visit to LSU. Kelsie Donaldson to my knowledge is the only player who hasn’t made an official visit to Gainesville. I’d imagine we’ll try getting Kelsie to Gainesville pretty soon. Maybe week 4 visits..

Well, while I agree with you, the answer might be that football IS pretty much a nightmare. I pay limited attention to the scoops about football as they are a dime a dozen, and usually useless, we can't deny that football drives the bus no matter how much we wish that wasn't the case. So, for the benefit of everyone, football needs to get its act together.
I imagine Phil is scrambling at this point. I sent him a private message outside the board this morning but haven't heard back and that is expected even though he and I usually exchange thoughts well outside this board almost every day. Lots of stuff about Caitlin Clark and other issues totally unrelated to this board. Hoping the house is at least still habitable. We here in the upper North Georgia Blue Ridge mountains were supposed to get slammed with high winds and up to 12 inches of rain. Right here where I live we lucked out. Places very close to us on both sides got slammed but right at my house we only got a couple inches of rain and no real wind. In fact, the back end wind with the sun out after the storm went by was much more severe than during the actual storm.
And, other than the additional insight from sweetpotao2 about a couple official visits that I did not know about, there has been absolutely no movement on anyone I'm following. I can say that, while we have had an excellent class so far, so has LSU. Beth isn't giving up the chase. Probably A&M also.

I have a boot on my left foot and thought better of going down I had a nice conversation with Student Manager Mariana Abate. This is her 4th year. She is from up north and is laughing about her parents worrying about Hellene. She thinks they Googled things to have and do during a hurricane and told her every one. BTW, Kaitlyn Towers is thinner. One day, she is going to disappear. It is always a good day to be at KSP.
