UF drops from #1 public university to #34

I don’t mince words. I tell it straight. If I cared I would say it. I don’t have a big opinion on it either way, but I think getting rid of it was the right call by the university.

 

Looks like these were DEI driven gentries based on the verbiage. The office of DEI was disbanded.

 

I guess you will need to explain that comment to me. The first club alphabetically is a club about African-American culture, but others include 3D printing, detective story club, cosplay club, an a capella group, and the 26 greek organizations. Those seem to have little to do with DEI.

Secondly as far as I know, abolishing DEI is about hiring and admissions practices. DEI has nothing to do with student organizations. Other than some student organizations protested the decision.

Just because 360BHM is rthe first on the list doesn't mean the list is only "DEI" entries.
