Picking a football coach is a small part of his job although it the most important . If he’s good at many other aspects and they want to keep him, just let others find the coach.
Miracles happen. I'm not saying that it's going to happen but we will see how it all plays out. 2 stranger things that come to mind are the Miracle on Ice and the Miracle Mets. Notice both have miracle in the way they are know, so i agree it would literally be a miracle if he went 7 and 5 with our remaining schedule.
I suspect we may lose the first game out of the 8, which makes the whole discussion moot. Anyway, I'll keep hope up for a winning record just to make the season less aggravating and more enjoyable.
I will be away, so i can't watch anyway UCF. But this whole year is just depressing. At least before the season started, we actually had hope that the offseason moves would make us "surprise" a lot of people.. Most of us fans were surprised, but not in a good way. After giving it much thought, I'm convinced the contracts with outrageous buyouts we gave to our last 2 hires had/has a lot to due with the lack of urgency, the missing 'back against the wall' feeling, the nonchalant appearance and demeanor that Mullen and now CBN seem to have when things are going south. Human nature, unless the hire is an alpha who really hates to lose, and cares what others think. Really hate to lose as in football games, not thumb wrestling or locker room culture.
