Ok Skippy. I will just have to treat you like the other posters who I just laugh at and move on. No use trying to have a conversation with an obvious troll.

Why so angry, Sport. I was complimenting you on what seemed your ability to learn from the posters here who actually understand the issue. I guess I was wrong.

    Now go get your shinebox.

Oh I can, but I would prefer you to figure it out. A man changed against his will is of the same opinion still.

But, but, but she's "evolved" and will have a nuanced view of immigration.

Her press release (paraphrased) will read like this: "I know immigration. I was AG of a border state and I prosecuted criminal gangs from other countries who had come here. Immigration is important, borders are important. And most of all, what is really important, is that we come together. Together, understanding that people come to the USA with hopes, and dreams and aspirations that many of our parents and grandparents did. So I will be very focused on immigration and make sure we handle it in a humane and sane way, unlike the mess Trump left us." And, after she says absolutely nothing in an erudite way and gets the jab in, those in attendance will cheer her on; and, why not? She's not DJT.

We should make our border as secure as possible and building a wall is an expensive unnecessary step in that direction. First we already have fence along most of the border. It can be improved and extended where necessary at a much lower cost than building the Trump memorial wall. We can start with hiring more Border Patrol agents as the Trump-blocked border bill would have done, use more technology like sensors and drones, negotiate with Mexico to limit the number of migrants actually reaching the Southern border as we have actually been doing successfully and which has significantly reduced encounters at the border and work to improve conditions in the countries from which the immigration has originated reducing the incentive to immigrate in the first place. We could also establish an expanded guest worker program so that migrants entering the US for jobs could do so legally.

Get your facts straight. The wall won’t cost us a penny because Mexico will pay for it.

That fence is working so well that somewhere around 2.5-3million people are crossing per year illegally. So yeah, fence isn't working. Try something new. Other countries have walls that do stop the flow of illegals. Will also need AI cameras, drones, more man power. Only way to do it if we are actually serious about securing our borders.

    Please stop lying.

Border crossings fall to their lowest monthly number of the Biden presidency

Border Patrol agents apprehended just over 84,000 migrants crossing the U.S. southern border in June, the lowest monthly number since President Joe Biden took office in 2021....

The number of apprehensions in June was nearly 30% lower than in May, when Border Patrol made over 117,000 apprehensions of migrants crossing

And the silly dishonest person either doesn't comprehend what year we are in, or is deliberately using the wrong verb tense in order to present misinformation as fact. (Also referred to as lying.)

    Sad either way.

    Just can't fix stupid lying.

Kind of like the border wall.
Trump border wall breached thousands of times by smugglers: report

Trump's border wall was supposed to be impenetrable. What a joke

What's awesome is I'm in 2 posters heads and they aren't intelligent enough to make up their own comebacks. They have to use my own jokes because they aren't smart enough to come up with something funny on their own. Love living rent free in their heads.

LOL. So let's look at what you posted. So, it was breached approximately 3,000 times over 3 years. So about 1,000 times a year. That to me is fantastic if we only have 1,000 illegals crossing a year. Thank you for proving my point for me. Build the wall. Add AI and drone coverage as well as increased guards.

I understand your point although the reality is that single breach didn't mean that only one person breached the wall. For example.
Trump’s border wall breached by smugglers over 3,000 times, records reveal

A breach isn't a person. It's a hole in the wall that multiple persons can get through. What kind of person thinks only one person comes in at each breach location?

And 1000 a year means nearly 3 holes in the wall a day. And given the remote locale of many of these breaches, it's simply not possible to fix every breach within a 24 hour period.

Breaches also don't account for other ways under or over the wall. Like the $5 ladder than makes climbing over rather easy.
