Which game will be Billy Napiers last? Poll

While I agree in principal, the reality is Kiffin can get Lagway through the portal. NiL money and a starting spot under Kiffen would be pretty enticing for Lagway.

 

James Franklin is definitely an upgrade over Billy but, I think we have seen his ceiling.

 

Unless Lagway doesn’t want to go to Ole Miss. Ole Miss does have a little bit of baggage for some. I think it is one reason why Lane would consider leaving.

 

If we get embarrassed by UCF like Miami game, BN will be gone.

 

I think this is the case. I think we should hang onto Napier for a bit, because I don't see how firing him soon benefits us in any way. But it's a tough call, and a beat down by UCF would probably seal his fate.

 

Yes. But Saban was at Alabama. The most important thing at that school is the football team. Everything else is a distant second. Alabama has proven over many decades that this is true.

Most schools aren't willing to duplicate that. Quite frankly, I don't want any part of my life duplicating anything about Alabama--the school or the state.

But, I think a shakeup at UAA is overdue. We've built the facilities we needed, we can tweak a few more things and win. Our NIL is competitive.

 

He's on my personal list, top 5ish. He always has a solid defense, good staff and decent recruiting which is hard up there. Think he would be a stable hire with the potential to get UF consistently in the playoffs. Winning it might be a different answer though.
