That makes four from my list and this one is really a total shock although she was still on it. This kid lives in College Station, Texas. I repeat. College Station, Texas. Stole Caroline from UGA, although she just lived close to Athens. This kid lives in the A&M....literally. She is a middle infielder who plays for the Texas Bombers. Tim is magic....I don't know how he does it. Just an outstanding recruiting class when far less should have been expected.
McLaine Hudson is still out there. Get her and this class compares to '23 and '24, if it doesn't already.
Understand what Tim is doing. As he has done in the past with the Batbusters and Mercado. And those two are never out of the picture but he is now going after the Texas Bombers and winning. The Bombers won this year's Alliance National Championship. Mercado fled to PGF and Red beat them in the national championship game. Batbusters stayed in Alliance but got beat by the Bombers. Townsen played for them. Caroline plays for them. Brooklyn plays for them. Against what would on the face seem like pretty big odds to get those kids to Gainesville, he simply does it.
Someone correct me on this as after a couple years of trying to follow all of this my mind goes to mush but I think Mia, Ariel and Cassidy played their last year of travel for the Bombers also. If that is correct, the best team in Texas is now owned by Tim Walton. And, Texas Glory is probably the second best team in Texas and he just pulled Kennedy Bradley from them.
I think having Francesca and Stephanie on staff now goes a big way in assisting him in recruiting. I’m gonna throw in players like Jocey, Korbe and Kendra.
Which is why.......do I want Francesca in every parents' living room....do I need to answer that? And she is shoulder to shoulder to the master and learning every day to be ready to take over when the time comes. I truly believe that.
Amanda has to pay her dues before taking a job like that. Two years as a GA is just a small start. Right now her focus isn't on that. She's with her husband in Clemson and her mind is on 2028 Olympics.
Yes. I think so. There has been some talk she may be an underrated player. She won't be on the field for us until the 2026 season so nobody should rule out that Tim found another one that some may have missed.
We can only hope that someone on one of the other boards decides to stream these games privately. Nobody here that goes to the games seems to step up.
But, can you imagine, some day, Francesca as the head coach and her bringing in Amanda as her hitting coach and assistant???? I hope I don't kick off before that happens.
Rick has been on this board for less than a year and has become our most active poster. He gives us great information and pretty much keeps this board going during the off season. Even though he has a lovefest going on with Taylor, I nominate Rick for Poster of the Year.
I'm blushing (but closer to two years) but in the meantime there have been commitments from three on the list who Tim dropped quite some time ago. Addison Rackley is a stud 2-way rhp who plays with Caroline at Buford and on GA Impact and has committed to LSU. Pressley Kilgore is a catcher on Texas Glory from Emory, TX and has committed to A&M. Makenna Jackson is an infielder from Keller, TX who plays on Texas Glory and has committed to Kansas which is something of a surprise. So, the totals from the list to this point: UF-4; Texas-1; LSU-1; FSU-2; A&M-2; Kansas-1; and Arky-2
Ella Kate smith recently took an official visit to alabama. I’m late.. as usual shayla and Nina both took official visits to Florida last weekend Kelsie Donaldson posted on Twitter she took an official visit to Missouri on September 6th. I can’t confirm whether or not Kelsie took an official visit to Florida.
Thanks. I have seen that post from Georgia Impact for more than a week and they say they got two commitments and have pics of two Gators but nowhere can I find who those two commitments are supposed to be.
