45-50? Don’t like to give people negative reactions and they could definitely do that but “will do” is a bridge too far. Sorry but no, you can’t call a half century in a rival who we used to own and often had problems with us, and even in our bad years and their good ones.

    UGA: 0.12

He said 45 to 50 of LSU. Kentucky would just beat us. That sounds pretty accurate. Our lines are scrimmage are horrible.

You know, I used Prediction Tracker to analyze the 49 different models and betting lines that they tracked for the previous five years (minus 2020) and actually found FPI was among the most accurate algorithms overall. It correctly predicted the outcome of about 72.5% of games over this duration (see attached image). Not surprisingly, the best was the betting line, which predicted close to 73% of contests correctly. Anyway, if FPI is completely useless, so are all other predictive ratings systems.

I think it's going to be very tough to get another win besides kentucky.
I also think Miss state only beats UMASS remaining on their schedule and Samford won't win again.

I still see this offense struggling against any real competition, it's not dynamic enough, and no players to truly gameplan around to stop.

Since we began playing annually in 1971, Florida has a 26-24-2 record versus LSU. Broken down by decade:

    1970s: LSU, 5-3-1
    1980s: Florida, 5-4-1
    1990s: Florida, 9-1-0
    2000s: Florida, 4-6
    2000s: LSU, 7-3
    2010s: LSU, 4-0

Since 1971, the only decade we "owned" LSU was the 1990s, and during that decade, Florida's record was 102-22-1 (.820), while LSU's record was 54-58-1 (.482). Florida's SEC record was 69-9 (.885), while LSU's SEC record was 31-46-1 (.404). Take out the SOS years, and Florida is 26-13 versus LSU.

Just a bit of perspective here, amigo. Perhaps you were referring to Kentucky..

They still play the Citadel every year. Samford will probably go 5-6.

why do so many think we can beat UK? They will beat us by 3 scores. Tough defense, and they are much more physical than us in every aspect of the game.

    In my head--- UF

you obviously don’t know anything about Kentucky football in 2024

you will be proven wrong, but you will be in this really weird position where you will be watching the game hoping Kentucky win so you can be proven right rather than raising hell for a Florida win

With an extra week to prepare, most competent coaching staffs could come up with something to prepare our bad run defense for UCF’s run game. I have seen nothing to suggest our staff can do that.

Stoops will cook up a game plan to slaughter this offensive line. I think that will be decided in the fourth quarter but I wouldn’t pick us to win.

Too many unknowns between now and when we play Florida State to predict that game. Injuries can and will happen on both sides, and we could be under an interim coach by then.
