Didn't want to make a thread over it because I'm not sure what there is to discuss but after not seeing a mention of this over several days I felt these depraved individuals deserved some attention for their actions.

Utterly despicable. The whistle blower exposed these crimes in 2019 and yet they only recently became public. On another note, I've never been one to complain about taxes but the lack of Accountability of where tax dollars end up is a massive problem at local levels let alone state and federal.

Sad thing it looks like the ring leader retired before they fired her. Guessing she’s sitting on a nice taxpayer funded pension to boot.

funds intended to help homeless kids with educational trips. Universities etc.

“Investigators recommended firing employees after finding that the head of the Queens Students in Temporary Housing (STH) program, which is meant to reward hardworking unhoused students with educational trips, was telling her staff that they could bring their families instead.”

    From the article:

“There are nearly 30,000 students without permanent homes in Queens, according tothe latest data from the New York State Technical and Educational Assistance Center for Homeless Students.”

    Wow! Just in Queens.

FYI. Today is World Gratitude Day.

If the focus is on the "world", I think I'll pass.
