This is a fascinating factoid. Makes one wonder if the smart ones got out before the NIL mess. Some (Orgeron, Jimbo, Chizik) were knocked out of their gigs.
Don’t forget about me…. I won a NC with UFC in 2017…. I’d have re-arrange some play dates with my kids and reschedule a dentist appointment but I might be available.
He probably doesn’t like what a terrible college football coach he’s become now either. 70 points to James Madison?
Well…. When Foley and Spurrier went to bat for him, then our AD couldn’t resist. Steve Spurrier loved the guy. He even said he would probably surpass him in wins at SC.. I knew then age was catching up to Spurrier.
Foley's word on coaches should be dismissed, judging solely on his track record of hires... No, he did not hire Meyer, that was president Machin's doing. The rest of his hires were DUDS... But I cannot believe SOS would recommend Muschamp after his debacle in Gainesville. That is hard to believe.
Spurrier was just being supportive of the guy coming after him, baseball coach AD is the one to blame. Former coaches usually make the worst AD's
Lol... you guy picked Muschamp... That's on you guys. He was a dud at Florida, and you still picked him to coach your team. But let's just back this all the way to the OP and talk about Mack Brown and his sorry coaching. Should he be replaced at the end of the year?
lol I didn't hire anyone, that was the idiot AD that will be retiring in November. Mack needed to go last year and I think he should step down ASAP.
Speaking of South Carolina and although the subject is off-topic, Shane Beamer would be quite an upgrade from Billy Napier.
Macs clueless. Never should have been hired back at unc. He couldn’t win with Drake Maye. Kid was good
