Looks like donors may be getting tired of throwing money at the moron running a worse campaign than Hillary. Trump only raised 1/4 the amount of Harris in August, as they head into the final lap with early voting already starting. I think donor see how unserious Trump is, with his stupid crypto tokens, NFTs, Twitter knock stock, making the news in a bad way everyday.

I heard on a political podcast that the big money on the right is shifting towards winning the Senate. No more for Trump's legal bills.

Harris has a much more extensive ground game than Trump not only with paid staff but also with volunteers. It's estimated that a strong game could make a one or two percentage point difference in the outcome of an election and considering how close the polling is in the swing states it could be enough to throw the election to Harris. Obviously anecdotal Obama's 2008 ground game in Virginia was incredible. We received multiple telephone calls from real people (not robocalls) and were visited multiple times by campaign workers knocking on our door. Ironically, they were more interested in speaking with my 21-year old (at the time) son who was away at college at the time than my wife or myself. That ground game may have made a difference considering that Virginia was carried by Bush in 2004 and flipped to Obama in 2008.

Has anyone had someone knocking on their door asking to vote for a politician? I never have. It seems dangerous for the volunteer as maga can be conspiratorial and angry.

Not yet but expect that to change in October. I would also add that Fairfax County including my specific precinct have become strongly Democratic. Speaking about the Harris campaign specifically my guess is that they will be concentrating their ground game on turning out younger voters already predisposed to vote for Harris rather than trying to persuade undecided voters.

It’s anecdotal but I just drove with my wife through rural VA on our way to pick up a piece of furniture. I didn’t see a single Trump sign. This is in an area that had them literally everywhere this time in 2020.

How can they donate when they are buying coins and crypto and DJT stock?

The biggest grift in the history of the US and it came from a president. Sucking the savings from gullible, naive old uneducated boomers(for the most part).

I made that observation in here a few months ago. Maybe <5% of the Trump shit I saw in 2020. In the last month a few giant Trump flags have gone up at businesses though, which I'll never understand
