If the Ukrainian government wanted to assassinate Trump and they certainly had an incentive to so considering that if Trump is elected he would pull a full on Neville Chamberlain and end up selling out Ukraine to his friend Vladimir they would have selected a much more competent assassin. The Ukrainians certainly would have not selected a Ryan Routh to carry out what they would have a considered an extremely critical mission. Your theory is what defies logic. Repeating your question and directing it towards you "what happened to your brains?".

I'm not reading that at all. Seems like they would benefit from getting rid of trump(if he were to become president as he is a threat to their very existence). The problem is thinking they would out source the hit to a huge nutjob without the technical skill to carry out the job. This is where your conspiracy theory fails fundamentally. One must really throw away a lot of common sense and logic. Why are so naive to think this way?

Although they certainly have a motive, once again if they really wanted to assassinate Trump they would have used a professional not some random amateur.

I'm not saying I believe this theory at all, but I do find it worthy of consideration. The first thing you do when assessing a murder or attempted murder is to establish a motive. (assuming you have your perp in custody or they are deceased). Do we know Routh didn't have the "technical skill" to carry out the job? He apparently carried weapons of war in a combat zone in Ukraine. He is also known to have possessed many firearms over decades. So it stands to reason he has the technical skill to carry out the job. And the fact that he was indeed on the FBI watch list, was not allowed to possess the weapon recovered and still somehow managed to make it from Hawaii to south Florida with said weapon indicates some skill and dare I say, bravery (though not for a good cause).

If you're referring to the fact he was caught, you must understand that it took some skill for him to get as close as he did. All it would have taken is a non-vigilant SS agent to miss the barrel of his rifle poking through the fence and Trump is likely not alive today. They won't talk about it, but that is waaaaaay closer than they ever want the SS to allow a gunman to get to a current president or leading opposition candidate. If the SS agent had missed that barrel, I feel pretty confident Routh would have carried out the job.

As for it being someone like Routh in general, what better way for a foreign government to absolve themselves of responsibility? Though I still tend to agree the risk outweighs the reward for Ukraine. If it was found that Ukraine actually had tried to kill a former POTUS, Biden would be forced to sever all ties with Ukraine and likely respond via airstrikes inside of Ukraine. You don't let foreign governments think they can get away with doing that. (see Clinton airstrikes against Iraq after it was learned they were going to assassinate GHWB)

 

You're supporting the point being made. Assuming Ukraine blew up the Nord Stream pipeline, they did it with people that knew what they were doing, not random amateurs.
