Towards the end of the game, our D-line looked like the D-line we're used to seeing. They were probably our 2s on their 2s, but they showed the aggression I like as well. If we could see that from the start to finish, we would have a much improved defense.

I have a hard time understanding why we can't keep them that motivated all game long.

I think we beat FSU for the third win on the schedule.

They would be an underdog to mighty Cal on a neutral field...they are staring down a home loss to 0-4 and haven't played a true away game yet. I bet DJU balls out today and lights up Cal for 80 yards through the air and breaks 3 ankles....with his misplaced passes...today.

At this point who is the biggest bust, Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell or DJU?

I’m thinking we could beat UCF and Kentucky along with fsu but that’s probably the absolute max.

It does seem somehow that tenn usually blows it against us even the years we tried giving it to them so who knows there but that is just my optimism trying to peak out!

We won. Good game. Not a good sign that Miss St scored 4 TDs. Seems to mean the rest of our schedule we will give up a minimum of 4 but who knows. But a win is a win and we needed this one.

Anyone know if Napier was calling plays or finally let someone else run the show?

Happy our team got the win. They deserve it. Jackson and Webb looked very good today. But with some development and maturing, Baugh may end up our best player.

How many GC members were hoping for a loss and a firing today?

I had the same thought about UT, but, they're a whole different beast this year.

I was hoping for a win and a firing, which would be the definition of a win win.

Would like to add, if our offense were this good going forward and our D improves somehow, we will be "okay". The team that played today will beat UCF and fsu IF our Defense somehow gets better. I realize it's possible Miss St is just terrible on D and today's offense was misleading, but we'll see.

Lol wut mate? They were still getting ran all over. The only reason they got the fourth down stop at the GOAL LINE after they ran it down there was due to a fumbled pitch. You can't tell me you have faith in our guys making a one in one tackle to stop a TD in that situation. Hasn't happened this season.

On that last drive we were getting pressure on their QB, yes, It was our 2s against their 2s, but we were getting pressure on them in passing downs.

One more thing, try not confusing passing downs with running downs... "mate."

I think we can beat UCF and the Holes. I would hate to end up the worst Florida team.

While I understand that MSU isn't good, more than one not so good Mississippi team has beaten us up there over the decades. One beat us at home. So, I'll take the win.

But..our D has to improve. They are historically bad.

It looked to me like the defense had that play covered pretty well. 2 guys to stop 1 even if the pitch was made with one of them pressuring their QB that caused that bad pitch. They need to keep working hard but that goal lie stand was pretty good under the circumstances.
