If this even happens, it will be fun to watch MAGA suddenly oppose undeserved pardons granted for personal or political reasons. They obviously never cared about this before.

    Cue up the hypocrisy.

yes, now, but we do not know from either video that it was a one topic meeting. Much ado over nothing. The bigger news is there was a cabinet meeting.

If your point is Biden is probably too old to be there and some are trying to conceal that, I don’t disagree.

I’m not MAGA, but I have always opposed the practice of unrestricted pardons by governors and presidents. Every single pardon should be subject to judicial review, and the pardoning executives ought to have to explain their reasons in writing. If the judge suspects the reasons are not consistent with the intent of the power, then the pardon is invalid. Do I think President Biden is going to pardon his guilty idiot son? Yes. Do I think President Trump would do the same thing under the same circumstances? Without a doubt. Do I think either should have that power when it comes to family, friends, or political allies? Absolutely not.

My scenario is similar to ETGator1

    1. Trump beats Kamala and gets 312 to 319 EC votes

    2. Biden pardons Hunter (and other family members) AND Trump, claiming he is magnanimous bringing both sides together

    3. As I said previously Biden may resign around Christmas enhancing his legacy by installing the first female president. I'll give this a 25% chance

    4. Trump takes office as either the 47th or 48th president of the US.

Edit: Biden won't pardon Hunter before the election. And he can't resign before the election unless he really trusts Kamala to pardon his family. Don't think he trusts Kamala that much
