With the coming Hunter Biden pardon, this is shaping up as the October surprise:

    1. Hunter Biden receives his pardon.
    2. Joe Biden resigns the presidency.
    3. Kamala Harris is sworn in as the next president.

Questions Abound After Jill Biden Takes Over Cabinet Meeting for a Visibly Tired Joe Biden – RedState

Who is leading the United States of America? That was the chief question that emerged after a confusing scene at the White House played out on Friday.

Things began with Joe Biden holding his first cabinet meeting in over a year, a timeline so absurd that it's hard to understand how a bigger deal hasn't been made about it. That wasn't what set off the most red flags, though. Instead, it was who the president ended up deferring to. After fumbling over some pre-written notes, a visibly tired Biden turned and handed things off to Jill Biden.

I get that we are supposed to act like this is normal, but it's not normal. It doesn't matter what she was there to comment on. What matters is that she's there in the first place. Jill Biden is not an elected or appointed official. No one voted for her, which makes her opinion on policy completely irrelevant. That's especially true when considering issues serious enough to be discussed at a cabinet meeting.

Joe Biden held his first cabinet meeting in over a year. My thought is the meeting served as notification for the coming October surprise. The only problem is Joe Biden couldn't make it through the cabinet meeting. He deferred the leadership of the meeting to Jill Biden. Yes, Jill Biden the unelected president taking over for the president who should have resigned or forced out under the 25th amendment two months ago.

Kamala Harris will be assigned to the WH oval office by the authoritarianism powers that run the country rather than subjecting herself to any further scrutiny. It's a winning situation for the democrats except that Kamrade Kamala can no longer run from the misery Biden/Harris heaped onto the American people as if she was simply along for the ride. She is clearly the incumbent who will lie and do anything along with her handlers to keep power.

Maybe he should step down at this point, but that's not some authoritarian move to avoid scrutiny. It's literally how the Vice Presidency works and what she was elected to do if necessary.

I think the Hunter Biden pardon will happen, too, but I see no political value in doing it before the election.

Absolutely. It will probably happen in January just before Joe Biden leaves office.

Wait, you think Hunter Biden would be pardoned BEFORE the election, in October?

The premise of that article is completely wrong. She is speaking on a specific topic. That said thank God he isn’t running again.

That seems like the common sense conclusion most intelligent people would come to…. But then you have RedState.com and the people who read it…

And they'll be outraged either way

"Why is he still president? He's not running the country!"

    Or

"Of course he stopped down to give Kamala an advantage in the election!"

How do you know Jill was speaking on a specific topic?

What gave her the right to take over the meeting let alone be in the meeting as an unelected and unappointed official?

Kamala Harris should have used the 25th Amendment in July. That she didn't plus lying about Joe's health for no telling how long should be disqualifying.

100% Joe Biden isn't leaving until the pardon is granted.

Putting Harris in the WH and taking her off the political campaign is a net gain. If she pulls anymore Oprah Winfrey interviews with an interviewer intent on requiring her to answer questions, even hard core dems would have a problem with her. That is a dems advantage before the election. Keep her on the sideline and shut her up. Her handlers know she is as useless as a box of rocks.

Biden is not stepping down. Kamala is going to campaign relentlessly until the election. You live in a fantasyland.

I'll stipulate that it's possible, and I see a political advantage in running as President instead of as Vice President. But I would not bet that it will happen.
