That is up to you, obviously, but our players are the ones that need our support. But I understand if you want to send a message to the AD, UAA and the current coaches. However, there are plenty of teams that have good traveling fans, and by not going or selling your tickets back... the visitors will have access to those tickets, and they will have far more voices in our stands because of it... especially the UCF crowd. Our players do not deserve abandonment... just saying.
It’s nothing to do with the players and I feel bad for them but my hard earned cash and three days of my time is worth something too. It’s not even making a statement to th AD or or anything of the like. I’m just not buying it.
I totally understand... I just feel badly for the players that are caught in the middle of this mess.
As one who was a a never Kiffen guy I can say it’s desperation. Steven Harris made some good points, mainly it would help hold a class together and keep some talent here.
I always thought he tried to be a wisecrack, thinking he was the new SOS in coaching... without the hardware to get away with it. I see his banter is far less harmful than in the past, and I no longer care about his personality traits. It's hamless humor or attempted humor.
Money talks and bullshit walks. Yes the players deserve our support " in all kinds of weather". Admin seems to take for granted that the gator nation will keep pumping money in no matter what. Football supports all the other sports. Kill football, the other sports die too. Wake the f up, admin.
When a sport takes in 200 mil and an administration is quibbling over 7 or 12 mil , it makes no sense to me, win games and that few million is a nonstarter. Lose games and you are losing bigtime money. Gatornation has been supportive all along but that is running out. It’s past time to pull out all stops and get the best coach money can buy.
I love going to gator games. Awesome memories, in both wins and loses. But when the product is bad on the field, you really have to consider the time, money spent and hot/bad weather you have to endure.
I’m a season ticket holder. Have been since 1990. I will not be going to anymore games as long as our current HC remains HC. I was at the Miami game. What we all observed on the field was obviously really poor. What those of us at the game observed on the sidelines was, in some ways, even worse. Throughout the game, the Miami bench seemed energized, excited, and focused on what was happening on the field. The players on the Gator sideline were, on the other hand, lackluster, not paying attention to the game, and gathered in groups of what looked more like social circles than football players. Prior to the Miami game, I was a staunch, relentless, and vocal supporter of Napier. No longer; and his Miami post game press conference sealed it for me. He came across as someone totally surprised by what happened, had no idea why or how it happened, and had absolutely no idea what to do about it. As others have said, he seems to be a really great human being. I wish he had been successful at UF. He hasn’t been, though. And now it’s clear he doesn’t know how to improve things.
I kept yelling, "Stop playing this!!" after each penalty. It gets ridiculous hearing that when we are getting slaughtered.
When he got let go, Mullen told SS to hire Kiffin. https://athlonsports.com/college/fl...s-coach-he-told-florida-hire-after-his-firing
I'm curious, would it help or hurt him if he scored 60 on us in the swamp? Assuming he actually has interest in the job?
