I'd be pleased if we play like we give a shit. That, alone, would be a positive. I could be, and have been, forgiving of a lot thru the years, but playing like you don't give a shit is unforgivable. Just giving a shit goes a long way. It at least shows it means something.

 

I appreciate the funny emojis instead of negatives, but I'm serious. Nothing funny about it. Play like its important. If not, kick f'ng rocks. Coaches, you too. This shit hurts. Doug Dickey didnt field teams that looked like this. Over 60 years of being a Gator, and this is the worst I've ever seen. I pine for the days of Dickey's ineptitude.

I dunno, imagine there's a lot of frustration entirely with the team. They surely want to play well and win, but they probably don't know why what they were taught(?) is not working. I could see them "giving up". I would think they know they have a bad staff so I hope that's who they hold accountable. Will they back Napier? Hard to imagine they will.

 

I've been going to and watching Gators games since 1961. They absolutely have given up. They knew before the season even started that they weren't any good and Napier wasn't either. Napier wasn't up to the toughest schedule in college football history, and they knew they weren't either. Not that we weren't led to think otherwise. That led to unwarranted optimism. When state that this is the deepest and most talented team you've had, the least expectation is to be at least competitive. Anything less...
