UF sleepwalks through at least the 1st quarter of a road game nooner, and gets down between 14-21 points. MSU will toss the rock all over the yard with our non existent safety play and no pass rush. Offense will wake up and make it interesting but is simply unable to overcome the deficit as the D continues to be lit up like a firefly in a bug zapper.

 

If we don't win this one, 2024 will be a 1 win season

 

Major rule of investing. Don't catch a falling knife. We are a falling knife, easy to get cut trying to pick us.. Have we hit bottom or are we still free fallin? I will pass on even trying to guess until there is more clarity on our future. Sorry to go on a pickem thread and not pickem but these are extraordinary circumstances.

 

It’s bad. Maybe worse than ours. From a talent perspective, we should beat them. Unfortunately, effort and scheme is also involved and I think they win because of intangibles and coaching.

Pretty much this except they don’t wake up until the second half if at all. Not just a noon game but a noon game in central time zone to boot. Sadly bad guys win again and who really cares about the score as long as we at least score and keep that one streak alive.

MSU looks bad. Realy bad. But so do we. I'm not sure this team/staff has what it takes to get another W this season.

I do think the scoring streak stays alive another week, though I don't see how we score in Jax or v UTx.

I'm generally an optimisitic fan. Why cheer without hope - I say... Sadly, I've given up hope on this year.

 

I hear Miss State has no D like the Gators. I think Mertz still has pride in himself and he leads the Gators on the road to a close dub!

Gators lose 33-30 in overtime to seal Napier's fate as the head coach of UF. I called this last week fyi.

I think his fate is sealed. IMO, He has to do a lot more than beat miss state to change opinions of him by the people that matter..

 

Even if he beats state, it what comes after. The meat of the schedule isn't even here yet. It could get ugly

I just think our guys had higher expectations and are probably more checked out at this point. .. and the fact that we'll be out-coached. And I know nothing about their coaches.
