If he’s making plays better than the four stars, so be it. He looks fine on the field as does the rb.

All I saw during the practice clips were players tackling dummies…no 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 action. It makes a huge difference when what you are tackling doesn’t want to be tackled. Tackling dummies is useless.

Nah, the coaching pay thing has ZERO to do with these players getting pay to play... The coach will be replaced, but players not playing? That is cause for dismissal and stop payment on their NIL. Even though I do feel badly about their coaching situation.

The AD must act now and make the call to prevent more if this crap.

Coaching contracts need to be structured this way too.

Can't say what happened to Collins, but an overhaul of the DL is warranted. Saw a play where Des Watson was double teamed and they moved him out of the way for a huge hole. A man that large should be an unmovable object. No effort on his part.

I was saying before the season that Collins was only going to be a situational guy. He is by far the smallest DT we have. I don't know if he is explosive enough on the outside for every down but I think he should be an end on 3rd and long.

I didn’t think that wide receiver had that many reps. But I was sitting there near the end zone Saturday wondering wtf are we playing Spierto?!? Billy is playing participation trophy guys, not the people you need to win the game.

He had moments of nice play to stuff the middle, but he CANNOT play 31 snaps. That is crazy. Boireau seems to be our guy who can shed, wrap up and tackle in the middle, while everyone else seems to stay engaged with the OL.

Good for developing proper technique, but you're right; there's a huge difference when someone doesn't want to be tackled. Hell, for that matter, anything that can move just a bit is more difficult than a tackling dummy.

You were saying that is a reflection that our WR room was trash. Playing him over others just to play him is dumb coaching. He is not better than the scholarship WRs.

We had the ball with the chance to get within a TD of aTm, and CBN has Spierto and Hansen as the top two targets. If he hadn't checked out, he has no feel for the game. He couldn't be giving out a participation trophy because Spierto was the third receiver in snap counts. If Burke, Mizell, Tank, etc. aren't ready for a big role, then Napier should have been in BG's grill every day. It's outrageous.

I’m sure Miami had a lot of dummies and it didn’t help one bit. They couldn’t tackle them either.

I think Dezis trying just fine but he’s 100 pounds overweight. After 4 or five plays that dude sucking up oxygen.

Amazed how many are blaming the players when I have 0 confidence this staff knows who the best players are rather than just rewarding "hard work." Cool, Rudy is giving max effort, he ain't winning you games.

Obviously the coaching staff thinks he’s better. My case in point. Some of this board is getting what they wanted and then complaining about it because they obviously wanted something stupid

Blaming the players is the lazy, easy way out. In this era every top player in the nation is getting paid handsomely, the difference is they have competent coaches who put them in a position to succeed, while UFs coach does the opposite.

We have 85 players more or less for staff to work into at least an SEC one deep and that has not happened. For me, it's just unlikely we cannot manufacture a starting unit that can compete with most teams, but our ones are being beaten. If there were still a drop in talent from our backups, but our first teams were very good, okay. But that's not even the case.

I know we could use better coaching but giving up 300 yards on the ground leads me to believe we have some personnel issues as well. I think it’s a combination.

This is an odd one. It doesn’t seem like Douglas knows his assignments well enough to get the amount of snaps he gets. That and going viral for the wrong reason would leave me to believe someone else might be in there
