I'm thinking somebody leaked Trump's schedule to the shooter.

If you consider that provocative - especially in light of some of Trump's rhetoric for the last 8 years - then I suggest you go lock yourself in a closet for the rest of your life.

Man, for people who spent the better part of 8 years talking up how "tough" you and the rest of MAGA are, you sure are a bunch of soft-ass snowflakes. The irony here is just beyond measure.

You truly and honestly believe that? That this is some kind of conspiracy and not the actions of a loon? It's amazing how someone who can be as thoughtful as you are on the other forum completely loses his mind when you step into this one. You cannot be this stupid. So why the loon act?

Even dumber than the last assassination conspiracy. They trusted their assassination attempt to an amateur that wasn't even using a decent rifle for this. Genius....

Hard to disagree with J.D. Vance’s words after the first attempt:

“Today is not just some isolated incident. The central premise of the Biden campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs,” Vance said in July. “That rhetoric led directly to President Trump’s attempted assassination.”

On what planet is Donald Trump a “dictator”? He’s not even in office, one. And two, if he wins, the Constitution precludes him from acting as a “dictator.” Dictators don’t just start dictating one day. Constitutions and laws have to be completely reworked before they are able to do what they want to do. Not to mention Donald Trump has never done anything outside of what another president has in his role in office, legally speaking. This hyperbolic rhetoric one day after somebody tried to kill him is way over the line. Especially when we all know Hillary is still just salty about the 2016 election.

I'm not a maga person and have never voted for trump and am not voting for him in 24 either, so swing and a miss with that. When one side only thinks the other side is being too far off the deep end then that should be a dead giveaway that you are too partisan. Thanks for confirming your partisanship.

To any rational person when Democrats say that Trump must be defeated at all costs it's obvious that they are referring to the ballot box. Once again only one candidate suggested that violence should be used against his opponent and it wasn't a Democrat

There is no other way "the loon" could have known that Trump was playing golf on Sunday so he could stake out his location for 12 hours in advance. The Acting SS Director said Trump had a change of schedule to play golf.

My questions to you are how did 'the loon" know Trump would be playing golf on Sunday? Has he been hiding in the bushes every day to finally get his someday shot at Trump? No, I'm not the stupid one on this board.

The same lame excuses are being used the second time around as the first time. It is security protection failure with nothing changed and no one being held accountable from the top down. Biden on Sunday blamed lack of funding for the SS on congress and kicked the issue out of the oval office. We have a president and vice president who order can direct Mayorkas to fix the Trump security concerns that have existed now for over 5 weeks. Why have they not done so?

It is a conspiracy of non-action from those in charge while producing the rhetoric that Trump is against democracy, and he must be stopped when they know it is a lie.

Do you just make shit up in your head then argue against it? So, calling him a "dictator" is somehow crossing the line, but leading your fans in a chant of "lock her up!!!!" (8-years ago, no less) is just normal political discourse?

Just stop already and put me on ignore. Seriously, bro, you have ZERO credibility at this point and are just reaching to the point of absurdity.

"Oh, clutch my pearls, she said dictator!"

And he accuses others of "hyperbolic rhetoric". Good God. You can't make this s--t up!

Swell. Point still stands. That is hardly provocative rhetoric and certainly nowhere near as provocative as dozens and dozens of things Trump and/or his supporters have said. In fact, by those standards, it's pretty tame.

Does that apply to all the Cubans who came to the US by boat from 1960 onward?

I honestly don't care about any of this. Just why you're such an intelligent voice on football but completely unhinged politically. Your posts there vs. here are literally Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Nah, they're solidly on his "team".

Venezuelans are pretty much a carbon copy, but MAGA being idiots and all can't see that.

After 2 assassination attempts in 5 weeks, I can't believe you don't know just how stupid your argument is after 8 years and zero assassination attempts. It appears you can't be happy until Trump is dead from a successful assassination. That'll show the world how wrong it was to chant lock her up when she was guilty and deserved to be locked up except the DOJ refused to prosecute which is when the US started its two-tier justice system and started on the road to becoming a banana republic.

Should the Secret Service give Trump an ultimatum telling him that they cannot guarantee security if he insists on going to venues including golf courses with obvious security deficits like the Trump International Club in West Palm Beach?
Trump’s golf outings have long concerned Secret Service
Soon after Donald Trump became president, authorities tried to warn him about the risks posed by golfing at his own courses because of their proximity to public roads. Secret Service agents came armed with unusual evidence: not suspect profiles or spent bullet casings, but simple photographs taken by news crews of him golfing at his private club in Sterling, Va.

They reasoned that if photographers with long-range lenses could get the president in their sights while he golfed, so, too, could potential gunmen, according to former U.S. officials involved in the discussions. Like most others interviewed for this story, they spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the matter’s sensitivity.
I'm not suggesting that Trump shouldn't play golf but if he demands the highest level of security golf courses in which it's impossible to provide that level of security should be off limits to him even if it means that he couldn't play at his own clubs.
