Is Trump now exaggerating " assassination threats" for attention?

He has a biden/harris sticker and tried to kill the Rep presidential candidate. It's like saying Trump is a dem. Who cares what happened 8 years ago.

 

Although his reasons are somewhat different he's probably as much a liberal Democrat as Dick and Liz Cheney.

The Secret Service is now confirming that this guy never had line of sight on Trump nor did he fire his weapon.

At least according to some commentators Trump was apparently pissed off that he didn't get a huge bump in the polls following the first assassination attempt and now he and his trusty couch-loving sidekick are doubling down by suggesting that the assassination attempts were the result of rhetoric from the Democrats although for the umpteenth time it wasn't the Democrats who suggested violence against Trump but Trump himself who suggested that his supporters use violence against Hillary Clinton.

By the way I know that the story of JD Vance and the couch probably isn't accurate but it's still humorous and it's as accurate as 90% of what Trump's supporters post regarding Harris and Walz.

That's a bit of an overstatement. One hole away from being able to shoot Trump if the USS didn't spot him isn't a nothingburger.

 

While the whole story is sounding a bit fishy and I'm not ready to rule out a publicity stunt, I 100% agree, if he was really there to assassinate the president, being 1 hole away from a clean shot is "not a nothing burger".

Edit to say: It is a nothing burger for those that are tying to say Biden isn't giving him enough security. It seems the security did their job. You can not 100% prevent someone from getting close to a person in a semi-public setting, especially if it was a last minute decision to go there.

 

Would anyone be surprised if it turned out to be a publicity stunt knowing Trump? Dude got wrecked in the debate and now needs the sympathy card to bring back voters to his side and make them forget about the debate. I put nothing out of play with this guy.

In a state and country of gun nuts running around with weapons of war, many, many people are 5 football fields away from being able to shoot Trump 24 hours a day.
