Michigan, really? Also while Trump outperformed the polls in Michigan in 2016 and 2020 in the 2022 gubernatorial election Tudor Dixon, the Trump endorsed election denier who was within the margin of error according to multiple polls lost to Gretchen Whitmer by a double-digit margin and for the first time in decades following the 2022 election Democrats held every statewide office plus ended up with majorities in both houses of the state legislature.

Are those guys in Afghanistan? I think Harris was a bit clumsy knowing we have troops still deployed to some dangerous places in the Middle East and Africa. She probably should have made that distinction. But it’s also pretty clear she was talking about ending the war in Afghanistan, so not exactly sure what the “lie” is considering the last troop leaving Afghanistan marked the official end of the war in Afghanistan. Unless the game being played here is the “war on terror” is ongoing. It’s a bit of a grey area as the people deployed even in Syria aren’t technically fighting in any wars (not as we traditionally think of a war). Yet as we saw recently some still carry out “war on terror” combat operations like that recently reported raid on ISIS leadership, so it probably feels about the same to a soldier stationed at one of those bases.

She should have framed it a bit differently I guess.

The U.S. has a large base in South Korea, one could construe that as troops in a war zone since that is technically an ongoing conflict (peace treaty never signed). Yet I assume nobody in Korea presently gets “combat pay”?

On the other hand I’d expect troops stationed in Syria should get combat pay and I’m sure consider themselves deployed to a war zone. Even though technically the U.S. has never been at war with Syria.

Not to mention the 20,000 number is an exaggeration of like 4-1 (I've read there is a total Haitian population, including the influx of migrants (yes, they’re legal) there of 5,000.

Are these the same polls Trump was citing after the debate that showed he won the debate?

LOL, she lied. You mean to tell me she's running for CIC from the WH and doesn't know we have troops deployed in a combat zone? Seems like that would have been an easy fact check moment. News networks track deployments. If she was merely "wrong", she should remove her name from the ballot in shame.

This article is so spot-on that you leftists are going to be spitting nails and googling for dirt on the writer …

    https://www.theamericanconservative.com/trump-angst-reflects-tenor-of-times/

The rest of the time, Trump was admittedly unruly and unfocused—but in his very distractedness and digressiveness, he arguably better reflected the tenor of the times than his glossy, vacuous fellow candidate.

Trump’s rhetorical congestion suggests his comprehension of a country being torn asunder by myriad social ills, cultural calamities, and policy failures, which it is; Harris’s comparative rhetorical steadiness suggests her comfort with, or ignorance of, these same problems.

When Trump assertively says, “We have a nation in decline and they have put it into decline. We have a nation that is dying,” even though those extremely broad statements are generally devoid of specifics, reasonable conservative-minded Americans will fill in the blanks.

By contrast, when Harris blandly says, “I believe very strongly that the American people want a president who understands the importance of bringing us together,” those same conservative-minded Americans will hear that they are being encouraged to relinquish their values and, in the name of nothing more high-minded than simply getting along with their Harris-voting neighbor, admit defeat on the issues of the day.

As I suspected, polls coming out of PA, GA and AZ looking strong for President Trump post-debate. It may not be intentional 4D chess he's playing, but the voters in those states heard him loud and clear, let's just put it that way...

    Update on cats in O-hi-ya:

The Cat Eaters of Ohio (christopherrufo.com)

"Our investigation begins in a run-down neighborhood of Dayton, Ohio, the closest major city to Springfield, about a half-hour’s drive away. We identified a social media post, dated August 25, 2023, with a short video depicting what appear to be two skinned cats on top of a blue barbeque. “Yoooo the Africans wildn on Parkwood,” reads the text, referring to Parkwood Drive. The video then pans down to two live cats walking across the grass in front of a run-down fence, with a voice on the video warning: “There go a cat right there. His ass better get missin’, man. Look like his homies on the grill!”

We spoke with the author of the video, who asked to remain anonymous but confirmed its time, location, and authenticity. He told us that he was picking up his son last summer, when he noticed the unusual situation. “It was some Africans that stay right next door to my kid’s mother,” he said. “This African dude next door had the damn cat on the grill.”

    +

One of the residents told us that her former neighbors, also from Africa, had lived in the adjacent unit until last month. They had a blue grill and the father would find meat in the neighborhood. “Her dad was going to find meat,” she said. “Her dad was going, holding a knife.” The current residents also showed us a blue grill of the same make and model as in the video, which the former neighbors had abandoned after they moved out. There were at least ten cats wandering around the complex and another resident complained that they were breeding on the property.

According to the original witness, whose son was friendly with the neighbors, there was no doubt about what happened last summer. “They was barbecuing the damn cat!” he said. His son’s mother had previously witnessed the family butchering a mammal on the street, but the cats on the barbeque put him in such a state of shock, he felt the need to film it.

Now come on, you know when Trump says something like that he lied. When Kamala or other Demoncrats say things like that they misspoke. That is just how it is in today's world.

So, Hunter Biden’s old buddy is now MAGA?

Devon Archer Ditches Hunter For Trump – What Skeletons Is He Bringing With Him?

“In a surprising turn of events, Devon Archer, a former business associate and close friend of Hunter Biden, has reportedly thrown his support behind former President Donald Trump, aligning himself with the "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) movement.

This revelation was made public by Lori Mills, a committee woman for the Ventura County Republican Party, who disclosed that Archer was present at a Beverly Hills fundraiser for the former president.

As reported by The Post Millennial, Archer's involvement with the Biden family has been under scrutiny by the House of Representative committees investigating the Biden family's business dealings. Archer has provided insight into Hunter Biden's business practices, including his habit of involving his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, in business discussions during the Obama administration.”
