Gators will rise again, swamp will be the most terrifying away game for everyone again. This belief of mine is not based on statistics or fact, belief. Faith even. It just is coming, I will have no pitty for the foes that mocked us when we were down.

What we need is a third OL coach. Why can't Napier see it?

I’ll up that…. Every player needs their own personal position coach to show them how to play, their own S&C coach, their own nutritionist…….That could be part II of the process

    Thats tough,
When I grew up in Florida, on a farm and ranch, Ragweed, Dog Fennel would knock me out, I used to "bush-hog and would get miserable when mowing. Horse hair too, we owned three horses, but I was young then and would just stuff kleenex in my nose, I loved to ride and interact with the horses!

Now, I live in PA and apparantly am alergic to a variety of spring blooms, thankfully Claritan does the trick for me.

As I get older (I'm 65), I have a better appreciation for allegy sufferers, sinus infections are no joke!

The only competent thing I saw on Saturday was the piloting of the Goodyear Blimp. Dude was holding that big airship in a dead-ass-steady hover over the SW corner of the field. Impressive.

    Yep, disagree.
I was in school during part of the Dickey era and this is far far worse. Dickey certainly underachieved given the talent level but he still only had 2 losing seasons in 9 years and went to several bowl games. No Florida coach in my lifetime had had 3 straight losing seasons like this.

Looking back the Dickey hire seemed like a winner, as he was a Gator alum coming off an sec title at UT. Didn't work out obviously. He will always be remembered for " 4th and dumb ". vs Ga.

You and me both. A simple perception from youth. Pell inherited Dickey's last season (4-7), tore the team down (0-10-1), then rebounded the following year at 8-4. Yes, we all know the game is different now, but you're right. Billy is pretty much Dead Man Walking. He should have begun to right the ship last year, yet it appears far worse.

    My Brother…My blood…
I took my youngest son to see them in PCola in 2009. He was 16, I was 53. Disrespect seemed the theme of the night. Sat in front of a group of girls (who had been loudly cussing and flipping stuff off) - everyone standing at end of show. One of them taps my shoulder and asks if I could sit as they can’t see. I replied “sux to be you” and the look on my kid and their faces was priceless. After about 5 seconds I said “just kidding” and sat down.

Took him to AC/DC in NO later. He got so sick offa Popeye’s chicken from the place on Canal St.

    Ah memories….

As bad as Dickey was, he was nowhere near this bad. He had winning seasons. Not the seasons we hoped for, but still winning seasons. Dickey had winning seasons at Utoothless, including two SEC titles.

Year 3 of Billy will be another losing season, and from the looks of it, year 4 will be as well if we retain him.

You have to go back to the 1930's to find a Florida coach with a record like Napier's, and that probably isn't a fair comparison to that guy as Florida in general-and UF in particular--were not what they are today.
