It’s Friday evening and not a peep all week from said AD. That speaks volumes, imho. I hear his job is safe though. Billy, not so much. That debacle last Sat sent shock waves through the athletic department and booster community. Watching the Swamp empty out in disgust at the end of the 3rd quarter gutted many.

These days, not so hot. When Pearl Jam was kicking … you’d have seen worse.

    In my head--- UF
Everyone has an opinion/ who replaces Stricknine?

Is it the #2 person? Could 30% of the fan base even name that guy?

Fuchs is here for 18 months. just arrived he WANTS to be here. Better than having Sasse now

National search for AD? Yes. Who is on the list? There ain’t no list … yet

National list for HBC? Does the Pres lead search? Intetim AD? Search firm? Contract negotiations?

If strick is gone who make the hire and when?

Florida football revenue is nearly $200 million last year

This isn’t Bradenton little league. Dozens of employees for football alone. 20 plus sports.

You don’t fire stricklin and fly home

86-398 as I read SS hire record?

That seems incredibly bad. Not defending SS, but hard to believe they have been that bad.

I hate SS, but those numbers aren’t even remotely true.

I think the women's basketball team under Cam lost that many games by themselves.

This is the way, I know Foley isn't popular with everyone but he could hold the fort down at least.

I’m inclined to believe they are close considering many of the coaches currently successful at UF were there before SS was hired.

So baseball and softball combined have only 38 losses in 8 years? They had more than that combined last year alone, and thats before any other sport or the other 6 years.
SS sucks, but there are plenty of valid stats to beat him up with. Like the fact that not a single coach he has brought to campus has even won an SEC title, let alone a national one. Every title won in his tenure was a Foley hire. Or that he has only hired about 6 coaches and four of them have already been fired, two for verbally abusing female athletes. Or that our only major infraction in over 30 years happened on his watch. Or that the money making program if the school has declined consistently on his watch. Or the Rashada mess.
He is a complete train wreck, don’t need fake numbers to make the point.

Fuchs hired the current guy. Sasse is gone. Don’t know if he hired one at his previous stop, but he won’t be hiring one here so it doesn’t really matter.

That’s what I was getting at. Previous poster didn’t want Sasse to hire and thinks it’s a good idea for Fuchs to do it.

I don’t have a spreadsheet in front of me as to which coaches were hired by SS. Thomas Goldcamp says he has a spreadsheet comparison on twitter or X but I don’t do that so, going by what others are saying. SS inherited a lot of coaches.

I don’t think he’ll get what he wants then.

I think the money will figure out how to get all these moves made when the time comes. If they want SS out, he’ll be out. They’ll sort out how to get some new guys hired too. Pres or no pres, though having a pres may expedite the process.

Baseball and softball coaches were not SS hires.

    I can name them all:
Wise (VB): hired by Arnsbarger (seriously)
    Bohan (SOC): Scott Stricklin
Nesty(SWM): men’s team from Foley, women’s from SS
    Rowland(GYM): Foley
    Deacon(MGLF): Foley
    Glaser (WGLF): Foley
    Golden (MBB): SS
    Holloway Track/CC): Foley
    Walton (SFB): Foley
    Sully (BSB): Foley
    Thornqvist(WTN): Foley
    Steinberg(MTN): SS
    O’Leary(LAX: Foley
    Finley (WBB): SS
And of course…Napier is an SS guy
